Exploring South Bank | a day in brisbane
มุมมอง 5611 หลายเดือนก่อน
We spent the last day of our trip in Australia exploring the South Bank area of Brisbane! We started off the morning with the best breakfast ever consumed. We then moved on to the South Bank walk and got some beautiful views of the city. We cross the river and explored the botanical gardens and the Queens Mall! There is even more to see later in the day with lots more food and the night market!
CRIKEY! We went to the Australian Zoo!
มุมมอง 10111 หลายเดือนก่อน
What a dream come true! We finally went to the Australian Zoo (Home of the Crocodile Hunter!) We had such an amazing day exploring around the zoo and getting to see such a wide variety of animals! We also booked the Cuddly Koala Encounter and got to become friends with someone who had all the KOALA-fications. But we also made sure not to miss the wildlife warriors show and feeding the kangaroos...
Spending the Day Exploring Noosa | National Park, Beach & Hastings Street!
มุมมอง 45ปีที่แล้ว
We started off our day in Noosa in the National Park! We connected from our Airbnb to the Tanglewoood Track. From there, we walked to Hell's Gates and walked towards Noosa beach on the Coastal Track. We, of course, got food and went shopping on Hasting's street before renting some towels and relaxed on the beach. We refreshed at our Airbnb before heading back out to Noosa Junction for dinner! Traveling up to Hervey Bay *we wrecked our rental*
มุมมอง 169ปีที่แล้ว
Travel day with a very unfortunate twist. We flew from Sydney to Brisbane and then hit the road to Hervey Bay. We had an amazing lunch before the worst. We tried to move on and explore Hervey Bay. We did not want to go to Fraser Island so we stayed in town.

Our Trip Across the World | what did we bring?
มุมมอง 67ปีที่แล้ว
2 people, 2 weeks abroad and only 3 bags. What did we end up bring and what did we end up actually using? I'm always curious about what is important to bring on a trip. Everything I found was for full time travel or backpacking, but I needed to pack for a wide range or weather and activities! Anyway here is my attempt at figuring out what to bring.
my plant collection may be getting out of hand... PLANT TOUR TIME!
มุมมอง 100ปีที่แล้ว
I LOVE MY PLANTS and I am doing my best to take care of them! I am still learning and by no means an expert....I just want to bring the outdoors in. I used to have a huge yard and was able to grow plants of any size but since moving into my apartment I have had to re-learn how to take care of plants! I just got plant #30 and am proud of my collection (which will most likely continue to grow)! I...

Plant Cuttings Mystery Box | the new best way to buy new plants?
A great video of your project! So simple but very functional for what you need. Well done and don't ever be afraid to 'have a go', you do have some exceptional skills. Thanks for sharing and I needed some motivation to finish a job on an old pickup. A slightly bigger area but I have stolen your sketch plan which was perfect! Cheers from Australia
They actually have a location out here in Santa Rosa, CA about 45 min north of SF. Its the best dim sum you can get in Sonoma county hands down. The crispy gelatinous puff is one of my absolute favorites
If we're NOT new here, is your name still Rose?
Your Jean modeling is awesome!! 😂😂😂
Just found your channel when looking at SUV camper builds! Really enjoy your videos, positivity and creative problem solving!
Did you have to bring your own propane for the stove?
is this better than Chuck -it?
Home of the Dads😂 I think you did an excellent job! Always I wonder how people access under-the-bed storage space without going out (during bad weather or bugs, stealth, etc)
What an ingenious idea expresses so lucidly...without even damaging or altering your interior. May o know which year your crv is
This is the most helpful Rav4 build video by a large margin. Thank you!
Very nice video, you did a fantastic job of building and explaining everything…can’t wait til everything is completed. ❤😊
Where did you fit all the cooking stuff? Maybe on the bed or platform till bedtime?
With this layout can you access your spare tire in the rear without unloading the platform?
What was the final tab?
Liked the cover and mesh over the back. You can always sell your platform build, if it doesn’t fit your next vehicle, to someone with a CRV and make a little profit
The best video I’ve seen that walks you through and explains everything so good on how to do this. You can make some good money building these for people
Eric Enjoys Earth has a five ppanel version. The front and back panels both slide back to make sofa style seats. The two panels involved are joined by hinges. The fifth panel is narrow and used to hold the panels down. His design requires a frame for the panels to move around on. I think Eric and you use heavier timber than needed. Go back to Home Depot and find some actual bed legs. They are much skinnier than yours. I intend to adapt Eric's idea and make torsion box panels, perhaps 40mm thick. I'm undecided between 3mm and 6/7mm ply. It should be a lot stronger but lighter than your design.. Weight costs fuel. I have used an interior doom as a bed, it works well but can't be folded. Those are torsion boxes, 2040mm long.
Too much side talk
Exactly
First off, congrats to Rose for doing everything by herself with no previous experience. However, to anyone interested in making a bed platform for a Honda CRV, watch the video from Matt the Designer with the title "1 Sheet of Plywood Collapsible Platform" It is a similar design to this but in a much more refined, better-engineered version, more practical, and more functional as it also includes a slide out table. It costs the same and even though it looks more complicated, it isn't as he lists all the cuts you have to make and then assemble it.
Thank you for the dimensions I’m doing the same thing and I have the same year car
such a great walkthrough thank you!!
Try Furminator Deshedding Shampoo and conditioner when you give her baths it’ll help cut down on the shedding my dog sheds constantly and when we started using it we noticed a huge difference!
Super helpful! Thank you for walking through all the details!
How do I get up there with out a car?
6:31 not that it matters but your level is upside down…. easier to see if it’s not upside down.
Nice video🎉
I might have my birthday party there thanks for the insightful review! Thou it seems like there will be heavy traffic esp at Saturdays that kind of scares me.
Thank you. This was helpful but I wish it had been shorter. Also, I really wish you had said what year SUV this is? I'm looking for an adoption for a 2014 SUV and I never heard you say what year your car is. (But I did rush through the video because it was long.)😁
So glad that I landed on your vlog and instantly subscribed. I am guessing that you are an Engineer in the way how you planned, documented and costed the assembly. Fine work and congratulations. Been watching several videos in my quest to convert my 2014 CRV. I rank you a #1 for the simplicity of design, fast, easy to Camperise (my own word!) and restore to original vehicle. With any conversion, the ability to access the spare tire, and little extra space in the well (though a rarity..) was a concern with the CRV. This design should allow you to lift the entire back platform up by removing the locator pin, and may be propping it up with taller wooden legs temporarily held by locator pins and get access to the spare tire. Other option I would prefer would be that the 2 back legs near the trunk door side could be hinged so they can fold flush with the under side of the platform to easily access the spare tire without disturbing / moving the back platform. To restore the legs, un-hinge the legs to upright position and use a locator pin to prevent it from folding and stay upright. Since access to spare tire is important, I wouldn't build any shelves on the underside, and limit the space underneath to removable plastic storage tubs or such. This is the first video of yours I have watched so far, and will be binge watching the rest of your series. Also whenever you visit any campsites would you please provide some details of that site with regard to the location, name, amenities, cost , safety etc which would be very helpful. Once again Kudos for a great Job!
i loved kaya`s apartament!
Coming from 600 sq ft in NYC, I am jealous of the closet space 😅
our new place has less :(
Carpet on the plywood platform will help keep the mattress from sliding. I like the idea of the low height containers. I have to pick up the platform on mine to get the containers out because of that lip at the back.
That is very similar to what I did in my 2016 CRV. I used the same video you did to start with. I built mine with more support legs since I am 6'1" and 300 pounds. I wish I had seen this video before I built mine as you did a couple of things differently that are better than the way I did it. I can't wait to see your other videos!
What's worse, not knowing the boiling point of water or not knowing what the Sydney Opera House looks like?
What a great idea for a video!
Great video, Rose! You're so cute.
2023 was the year for moving!
So much smitten!
What a great year! On to the next! ❤
Aunt status!!
ZAC CAMEO
awesome job. its not a drop pin, its just a long screw. people that are going to use this. buy 3/8 dia. , 3" long screws
Man that’s so cool! I wanna go!
The koala staring at you 😆
It’s amazing how many of these videos make it seem overly complicated. Your drawing with the dimensions is one of the more helpful plans I’ve ever seen and yet so simple. Thank you!
Thank you! I did not understand how these puzzles worked until now. Great video!
Very nice video and voice.Thank you !
Hi, what was she scanning on your phone? would you mind telling us how do you buy tickets?
Hello! I have a clipper card in my Apple wallet on my phone! You can load money onto the card and use it to pay for the bus, bart, and ferries!
@@RoseCatherine can i just use the munimobile app to pay for bus? Or do i need clipper app?
Home Depo is paradise although half the people who work at my Home depo have No clue where things are and what those things do. Thank goodness I learned from my Grandfather and one of my uncle’s. I have a 2003 crv and she’s the best car I’ve ever had. Love my adventure wheels.
did you have to have snow chains with you?????
Yes! We did!
