Troubleshooting The HM 7000: What To Do When It Stops Working
The HM 7000 app has stopped working.
After trying several times it still wouldn't work. After a phone call to Hornby, and with their advice I managed to get it working again.
It only seemed to happen with the first set of logos I bought.
I would like to say thank you to Hornby technical team.

Level 3 on a OO layout i am working on
I am having this issue. NXT18 new decoder. All my others are fine, not an issue. But this brand new install has nothing. Linked, updated, reset still nothing! Now going to ry again another full reset and see if that helps at all. I have a bad feeling though… I will update if it works
good luck keep me posted.
I've had similar problems before and in fact just now (haven't used Bluetooth control for some time as I tend to use my select). I unassign my locomotive then delete the profile. Once removed power cycle then link device and scan for new Bluetooth devices and relink locomotive. It's more of a general Bluetooth issue I think than purely hm7000 issue. I get similar issues with other Bluetooth devices e.g. my phone linking with my car stereo.
yes that's is what the end of the video is saying. thanks 👍
Hi. Steve. Excellent result
Interesting to see how it's done. Not sure I would have the patience for that, but it looks great!
Good!
thanks you 👍
Lovely video and i agree that using a speed ballaster is not as good as using a sppon
thanks for your message
Good video, you probably want to get a Swann Morton knife.
thanks I will look into that
I found that very interesting as a newbie
thanks 👍
Good luck at Gaydon over the weekend Steven. Sorry I can’t be there, but it might be worth popping over to see Brett at Malc’s models Friday afternoon after you’ve set up 😉
ok thanks 👍
I must have one in the morning
@@StevenTT120Layout I thought you might 😉
That is really helpful, I may well make one of these.
thanks I am still working on other videos at this moment. I hope to see you at the show this weekend.
@@StevenTT120Layout bit too far for this weekend, but I will be at the NEC event next month on the Saturday, are you going?
@@trevorbellTT120 hopefully see you then
Thanks Steven, seems like you had a good day.
thanks for the feedback
Fab! 🤓
thanks 🙏
Im getting interested in getting into TT, ive not had a train set since i was a kid in the 80s. I also build wooden models you can buy that are just like that. I think i would enjoy building them. Do Hornby do them in wood too?
sorry Hornby just do resins casting at this moment. the are lots of wood laser cut out their. enjoying time to come.
Thanks for sharing, good idea. 🙂👍
You’re welcome 😊
Great layout, love the idea of those loading ramps.
thanks 👍
Great Steven as a newbie to the hobby I found the video very interesting
thanks 👍
And Pete waterman no less! This is all growing fantastically 🥳 well done indeed :)
Thank you kindly. Miss you on Monday
@@StevenTT120Layout me too! I didn't get the messages in time, they’d gone to the wrong email 😆should be there next time 🤗🙏
Excellent stuff Steve 👍
Thanks 👍
Nice one Steven. You sound very excited indeed 👍
I am! Thanks 👍
Very beautiful idea with the colored windows. But which manufacturer made the arcades on the ramp in the background? They would also fit in very well with my layout.
Are you looking at the red name plate? That's is on Etsy
www.etsy.com/uk/shop/CRCRAP
@@StevenTT120Layout No, I meant on the layout the wall at the track rise in the background in the first seconds of the video. I have been looking for such small wall arches for a long time. I have to admit that the word arcade wasn't the right choice in this sense.

Hi excellent video do you plan to do more of the peco kits?
Yes I will
@@StevenTT120Layout I have the goods shed and signal box to put together, so will wait with anticipation, to see how you do if you have these🙂
@@DaveC1964 thanks Dave I have built a goods shed and at this moment doing a school.

What’s a Ruining session? 😂
Running sessions is of the train moving on the track
hello Steven! I was in malcs models about 12.00 ish on the same day, and I absolutely echo what you say about them, the shops not too far away for me to get to, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming, I am actually more of a scale modeller than a rail modeller to be fair, and I was in there for the mythical "couple of tins of paint" my wife was paying but there was a £10 lower limit on card transactions which we were under, no problem with that, as I simply grabbed an airfix Bf 109 kit I had been after for a while as well! win, win!
thanks
Learning now for later ☺ Great stuff Steve! 🚋
thanks 👍
Came across your channel, great looking layout, can you tell me where you have got your engine shed from, also I’m building some peco kits , the goods shed and signal box, any tips you can pass on for laser cut buildings?👍🏻
I got it on eBay Modulex, Railway Models UK. I am doing a video on putting together laser kit. Subscribe to my channel so you don't miss it.,
I’ve already subscribed and cheers
They're very nice wagons Steven. I hope I get a chance to get hold of the future editions.

thanks
That’s a cracking rake Steven
Thanks for the heads-up video on the offer.
@@StevenTT120Layout my pleasure
Glad you got your wagons, they really do look good 😁
thanks 👍
Looking good! Looking forward to seeing it with the landscapes all filled in too. Could sit and listen to them chugging along for hours 😊
thanks 👍 just working on one bord at a time.
They all look really good. i have heard some people say that there is slight mis-print on the spacing but I understand that they are copied from the originals and the offsetting is modelled correctly. the layout is coming along very nicely 🙂
yes that's right. thanks.
@@stephendehavilland5254 ah yes the bauxite one, so there is. I've done sugnwriting and never noticed. That's going to annot me now. Someone obviously couldn't space on uneven surfaces. Must have been the apprentice. The red and bauxite are too near the top too. There's a few preserved wagons with spelling mistakes they've cilpied over from the original paint too. I got irrirated by it at first but if it's on the original
very nice running session. My Class 50 (Leviathan) arrived last week and i am really pleased with it.🙂

Please take care when handling MDF, it’s not just the dust but the Formaldehyde contained and ultimately released from MDF. It varies in levels between manufacturers but currently carries a warning as a dangerous material in most developed countries. I have a sinking feeling in the coming years it will be another Asbestos.
Ok but I have now finished the rock-fast now for painting with water-based paint 🎨
