Sterno-clavicular subluxation and now shoulder impingement. Could they be linked? I just cannot get past this shoulder impingement. The SCS came first but I did nothing to bring it on (no trauma that would cause it). Any suggestions? I have been to physio on numerous occasions to help with both but minimal improvement. Shoulder seems to be strong so he ruled out a tear. Bursitis is another diagnosis I was told.
nice explanation, beautiful film!
I am spellbound! Many thanks for the wonderful video & information! 🙏
truly amazi🖖ng
So glad I found your channel! It's refreshing and positive! Thank you !
Thank you ! This is absolutely true, it's what I'm doing , and it works. I'm thrilled I found this! Also , the style and voice is just right 👌 Thank you again.
I am deeply touched and grateful by this video . Imagine this being taught in schools. Children would have such a closer insight into the wonder that is our body, and children ( if young enough) would understand this . I'm going to save this . Liked and subscribed ❤
Dr jerry tenant would tell you fascia is where electrons flow
Forgot to mention my friend I subscribed thank you for your TH-camchannel.
With all due respect at the 5-minute introduction of your great examples in teaching of The Fascia., thank you thank you thank you fascia acts like a second skeleton can turn liquid can conduct electricity in my humble opinion and my studies Fascia, activates from within one needs to activate himself No therapist not even a Quantum Biomagnetic Therapist cannot activate for us..... ❤not I said the cats❤
Amazing ! And at the same time scary, responding to every movement and emotions.
It's amazing! Thanks 🩷
What is the best way to smooth out lumpy fascia on the legs post menopause? I don't want to use that "fascia blaster" device as it has thousands of people who have suffered adverse effects.
Have you heard of the channel Block Therapy? You may find your answer there.
Block therapy has helped an old injury so much I wanted to see the fascia. After spending thousands on my back for pain relief I finally found something that helps, costs nothing & I can do at home.
Specially when you roll a tennis ball under your feet by the mid way area where's Fasia sits by the arch. 😢Only ourselves can activate it's own fascia, in my humble studies, But you got it right my friend!!! Stretching at home moving at home get rid of pain for free..
❤
Thank you from a rice village in Northern Thailand ❤ We do not have a therapist. And this is a common injury here. So your exercises are extremely valuable. You are appreciated more than you know.
Amazing 👏
Truly amazing! How do we even see it as tissue, when it acts more like water? A strand splitting, connecting, dividing, moving along a connecting strand and back, as if it were water with volition! Absolutely magical!
Had a recent motorcycle accident and dislocated my right SC joint. Was really surprised that there is no corrective surgery or therapy and that I'm just going to have to live with a dislocated bone for the rest of my life. I don't get it. Why can't they put it back where it goes like every other dislocation. Wtf?
I did mine on a bike on the left side, rear tyre slid out in the wet and landed on my shoulder. Look up sternoclavicular dislocation closed and open reduction, there are a few types of closed (non surgical) and depending on how its dislocated will depend of if it's successful (mines anterior which usually isn't successfull). Open is surgery which can be re attaching the joint itself or using grafts other tendons. Hope this helps 🤞
@@womblingaround Yeah, I did a little research on it. Mine is anterior also. It's pushed a little forward and up about an inch. Basically sits directly over the top of my sternum now instead of attached to the corner. How has your recovery gone? Did you get any corrective care? Wondering if I'll ever be able to do stuff like lift weights, surf, and ride my mountain bike downhill again.
@@MapleBar777 yeah I did mine about 2-3 years back during covid so I didn't get it checked, sounds exactly the same as what you've said, I haven't got anything done yet but I'm going for an mri next week to see what the damage is like. Ive tried to ride (bmx and motocross) and found my balance was all over the place and couldn't take any jumps/bumps without pain for a few days, i havent been able to box or lift weights especially overhead (pullups, lat pulldowns, flys etc) stuff and bench/push ups/dips so id say stick to cardio and core/legs until you get checked more, not sure on surfing but I'd imagine it'd be decently upperbody intensive so it's probably the same as the weights. Definitely get second opinions to try and get a closed reduction or even an open where they take a piece of tendon from your hamstring because with 3 years and working construction/welding all the muscles around it (traps, lats, pecs, delts) have all tightened up and have my whole posture really twisted and messed up so I'll probably be going straight to open reduction or months of physiotherapy to loosen everything before trying a closed reduction My advise would be try to go easy and definitely don't sleep on that side
Ps. even though anterior looks messed up and has less chance of a successful closed reduction it's the better of the two, posterior can kill you by cutting blood off from the brain so I'd consider us lucky in a way
@@womblingaround Gotcha. I'm definitely lucky. I fractured my left occipital condyle from going face first into the pavement and my head and neck getting torqued so hard, so I'm lucky I didn't die or get paralyzed from the neck down. Freaks me out when I think about how I could've been sitting in a wheelchair with a breathing tube right now. I saw an orthopedic surgeon a couple weeks ago who's done the surgery about 8 times or something for anterior and posterior. He said it's very invasive and risky. Said it was on the same level as heart surgery. He'd have to drill holes through my sternum, cut off the end of my clavicle, and reconstruct my tendons and ligaments. All that and the results he's seen aren't very good. Said if I chose to move forward with surgery, I'd have to find another surgeon to do it because he wouldn't. Shitty situation. Thanks for your replies. I appreciate it. 🍻
Unfortunately the volume of Johns mic was gone around 25 mins. Great conversation however! Very impressive important for me to hear.
No brain No gain So much pain
I just found Johns work, this is amazing, i ordered the party pack from his website.. just awesome.
Wow! I am a french fasciatherapist and it is so amazing to have those views! Thank you so much!
Oh wow I've never heard of such Fasia Therapist that is Awesome ❤❤ how exactly do you help activate or give therapy to The Fascia? Stretching exercise, get up on the rebounder, electro impulses therapy? Thank you as little as I know of fascia I've been taught that Fasia activate on his own from within so I'm very interested in how a Fascia Therapist work on The Fascia my friend ? Thank you !!
@@TuYo-o8k this a manual therapy. I am trained to feel the movement of the fascia with my hands and I follow what the body needs. So hard to explain in words, that a 3 years courses...This movement is the life flowing within us...
Human body is a machine that we dont seem to use optimally or in fact even appreciate enough . Fascinating ,Thank You 🎉🎉🎉🎉❤
Yes Siri ! We are almost like a Robot.

Thank you
I studied myofascial massage and was never taught this!? Absolutely mind blown at how it all moves and flows together. I didn't think I could be more amazed by this incredible tissue. And the way you described it all I very much enjoyed! Thank you for this valuable information.
You can attend John Barnes Myofascial Release seminars and you will be amazed at how much you will learn that you did not learn in massage school. For example, there is a MYOFASCIAL RELEASE International symposium that has studies extensive studies on how it functions and how to release it. If you are not holding your gentle compressions for 3-5 minutes you are not giving the body a chance to make long term changes. Same with horses. Check his seminars out if you need CECs
Do you see patients online? I've supposedly dislocated my sternoclavicular joint. The doctor only spoke about whether or not to have surgery. He said I don't need it, but I may just have to live with pain forever. I think this os absolute BS. He gave me no suggestions nor spoke about how to fix it. I think it is only sprained. .. but I want a second opinion but struggle to trust orthopedic doctors here in the US
i was doing bench press and i felt this pain on my collarbone middle area. What should i do about that
Could this help ms patients
It resembles egg white ovulation vaginal discharge. Very stretchy.
What about with a dislocated sc joint that has been that way for two years, anyway to reset that?
did you anything about that, i am suffering with the same?
@@zaminlone5096 I never did anything about it lol, don't have much pain anymore and if I do I don't even think about it cause I'm used to it, increase shoulder mobility is all I can say

Makeup of fascia : The "fibers" are collagen. The "water" is attracted by glycosaminoglycans.
Check out the “Fuzz Speech” by Gil Hedley 🙏
The original introduction to fascia that makes sense. It helped me in understanding a stuck scapula a little better. I asked many patients to watch this clip to help them understand too.
So good! Thank you :-)
Does this will fix the problem?
