Tried to follow the jeep using the tracking feature, but the software isn't programmed to follow objects. I had a prompt on my screen. I contacted DJI and requested to add this feature to the Neo.

Dry type block heater on the ecodiesel, does it work?
Sounds great haha 👍
is that JL stock , with the stock tires ?
Yes completely stock, just added a bumper and winch
Do your front tires toe out with the axial steering links?
Huh never payed attention to that to be honnest
@ALL_OFF-ROAD look at it and let me know if you don't mind. both of mine do
Mine is ok. I run rampcrab brass knuckles though
So flip the shocks, remove spring and spacer. And add rubber bands?
In the video I tried to do kind of a flex blade prototype like they do on the scx24's, ended up removing them. Im a now running no external springs, scx24 springs inside the shock, under the piston for a "full droop setup". + Rubber bands as limit straps. It works well.
What Brand Rock Sliders are on that Gladiator?....this trail looks cool \-/
They are custom. I welded tubes on the stock rubicon sliders
Very kewl, bet that was tough keeping it on the track
Its pretty narrow for the xmaxx, but it was not so bad. The small berm was making it turn on its own. If I steered It was going off the track.
Were you using a remote or just the phone? I’ve seen only one or two videos showing that it WILL track a vehicle. I just got mine on Thursday, so I haven’t tried it. Hopefully, I’ll have a chance later today… I would at LEAST like to get some “slow rolling” shots… 🤷🏻♂️
Tried both. Using the remote you can select a subject on your phone screen, but this is where its prompts and say it will only track humans
@@ALL_OFF-ROAD From my chat with DJI: DJI: This for your first question - 1. Can the Neo track a slow moving vehicle? By slow, I mean less than 20 mph. DJI: I'm sorry. If you mean by track while the car moving slow. Yes it can be tracked. Me: Yes, will the Neo actively track a slow moving car? DJI: Yes So, who knows… I asked several more times for confirmation and the answer was always yes. 🤷🏻♂️
Lol, I chatted with a live agent and asked to add that feature, they said they will submit the request to the engineers 🤷♂️
@@ALL_OFF-ROAD Well, there may be hope! I don’t see a reason that it can’t from a software point of view.
I think the same, if it recognizes an object over a human, why wouldn't it track the said object 🤷♂️
Could you do a video explaining how you painted the body?
Curious about how you painted the body?! That looks awesome. Would you be interested in doing mine?
Its not that hard. I used Posca markers for the black lines first, then used various materials as stencils from the dollar store to make the carbon/honeycomb patterns, light spray. Then fumed the front where its gray to give a darker tone to the silver paint I bought. Then removed tape where I painted red, light fume of metallic white to give the metallic effect on the red, 2 to 3 light coats of each. Let dry then finish off with white or gray everywhere. So a few tips, draw with markers on the outside of the body, on the protective film, then Cut shapes and outlines in masking tape, painting dark color first. For the splatters, I just sprayed black paint in the cap, dipped a straw in it, then blew it on the body. Back to school days 😅 I used On-point paint, rattle cans. Its intimidating, but fairly easy to do in the end. That was my first body paintjob, and its a success. Im not doing for others unfortunately. Hope that help
Mmmm differential milk yummy
What a sweet place to do some bashing at!!
Yeah, but sand gets everywhere 🤦♂️ really needs to put on a mesh cover on all the rigs lol
Superbe !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 👍👍👍👍
great spot I do a lot of crawling on the power lines I find the best washouts there great video 🤘✌️
great video I hit the subscribe link the slow crawl on that is insane 🤘✌️
Not as good as a Fusion, but still pretty decent
Nice rig! Also, nice video - camera work and narrating. Enjoyable to watch. Thanks!
Oh man thats a sweet lil brushless in there. Nice low KV for that awesome never ending torques!! Its truly amazing just how something so small can create that much power. Once I went brushless in my Scx24 I havent looked back. Brushed at this scale is a nightmare to try to crawl with :)
my two ax24s and my ryft all have upgraded brushless motors you are 100% correct once you go brushless nothing else will do 😂
Love the utb 18 was the trans you put in for it specifically. I’d love to make mine move like this it’s a cralwing beast with the stock electronics . It has a wrcca mini 3d printed chassis, and some axle goodies….ready for some slow goodness!!!
The trans I bought is the RC Lion on amazon, metal housing and gears. If you wanna go brushless, id suggest a different route for simplicity. The rhino motor is not direct fit, as it has a 540 motor bolt pattern, so i had to modify the trans and fabricate a motor plate for it. Id suggest mofoRC Keg motor et dinkyRC esc. It is more expensive a bit, but would fit directly on the trans.
So smooth, so silent. Perfect!
Awesome rig man!! Crazy just how much slow steady control those brushless systems provide. This thing looks so rad going that slow and portals sure let it get over nearly everything too!!
Yeah for a rig this size it is impressive. After running the VRD with a lot of overdrive, I will have to change the front gears in this one too. We get used to using it.
@@ALL_OFF-ROAD I used to do overdrive.. Then I realized that underdrive does the same but doesnt end up speeding up the rig. Still makes the front an overdrive by slowing the rear down and it easier on the motor :)
@@DurpVonFronz yeah im aware of that. By replacing the stock trans by a metal one it seems to be a lot slower, so overdriving the front will be fine. Also, can't find rear underdrive at an affordable price, thanks to border customs to canada and exchange rate
@@ALL_OFF-ROAD Oh nice u got a diff transmission, should be fine then :) Yea Im over here in Alberta so I know all about that nonsense. Ordered 2 things from MoFo RC and it was brutal when it went thru the border...
Awesome scenic crawling area and an awesome performing rig. Nice 👍🏾🔥
Very nice crawling, super cool rig!
What and awesome looking rig dude! Looks like youve got the perfect foams in there too with the amount of tire twist ur gettin outta it! That was some nice crawling around man!! Woot Woot!!
Thanks 👍 those injora inserts are broken in I think 🤪
What a great looking rig man, those Baja Pro X sure make it look mean and gnarly!! Id bet some Trenchers would help this thing climb though, some of the best tires out there :) Them or the Hyrax :)
I was thinking about getting Ruptures, but look is half the receipe and I am not sure. I had a set of megalithics, and in the muddy rocks like that they were useless. They were also smaller. I like bigger tires
@@ALL_OFF-ROADI like bigger tires too , I got 108 mm Swampers on my Ecto 12 😊 cool video
That was awesome FUN.
Absolutely, i'd like to try ruptures, but dang nothing beats the look. I have quite a bit of runtime on them and they just begins to grip better. Would be curious to compare g8's though
The Baja Pro X are one of the best looking tires out there, makes ur rig look sick af!! :)
Which is which? And looks like tires / wheels on the left Jeep are bigger, so is it really a fair comparison?
Its not an apple to apple comparison, but you clearly see the difference. The injora digital is in the tan gladiator
I like your style, no need to remove crap from the axle if you do it right.
Awesome Crawler
Awesome Fun video
Squirrel :)
💕Wow💙💙💛💙💙💙💙
Thank you ❤
Need to put a fusion pro motor in it
Its already in 👍
Nice 👍 snow ❄️ wheelin
Nice crawling bro diggin this location as well
Nice 😊
Do you know how to operate the model memory. Not quite sure how to link another truck to it
Yep, I actually put a vr-1 receiver in my scx24 gladiator. Pretty simple. You press the bind button on the receiver, then I believe you open the transmitter, and it will sync. You then create a profile on your transmitter for the new rig, it will only saves settings like steering end points, etc for this profile. Be aware that both rigs can run at the same time if they are both powered on.
Awsome perfect snow and rocks. Except it’s a little better when the snow is crusty…. Really Awsome work making it up through there!! Those muddy wet tires make everything hard!!!
Awesome climb man!! Amazing climber, love that tire twist!
The stance is crazy nimble. I have a fusion se and megalithics in the mail, its gonna be an epic rig
@@ALL_OFF-ROAD Ooo nice, good choice for upgrades!!! :)
Nice vid man, from what Ive seen so far is the LGRP Black Label 1.0s are amazing on wet conditions
The S5 did not impress today 😓
It may outpull it, but it will never beat it in a reliability competition. Ca-ams are plagged with little issues
🥲beautiful
How long does a motor last with them tires? And servos
Didnt run the 70's long enough to tell. But a strong 050 motor should last a long time, especially on a light rig. If thats something you are worried about you can underdrive both axles. Thats what I did on my brushless gladiator on 64mm's.
@@ALL_OFF-ROAD all I heard was don’t buy them
What an amazing rig! That angle is what highly modded rigs try to get.
Yeah its pretty crazy. I want to try brass rings in the wheels and see what it can do
@@ALL_OFF-ROAD Its can only get better. What a insane rig, one of the best RTR's Ive seen.
That green looks great I the snow’ Those big tires big help too. Love a good crispy snow crawl!!!
Nice build and great vid!
I enjoy these crawls. Thank you.
Are you running the stock motor?
No, its a 050 size from amazon
Nice rig
