I can't believe it but I'm glad I saw one of my idols live. Saw Iron Maiden at Wacken 23. It's sad but understandable he retires. Thank you Nicko, your drumming in Iron Maiden will be remembered.

O show só não foi perfeito , porque a quando o Iron estava voltando para o bis, a galera não vibrou quando os integrantes voltava para o palco. Foi a coisa mais estranha que vi em um show

I've been in 3 different Iron Maiden tributes playing drums. I'm 60 now and still playing the material. I don't think a lot of people realize how much energy, strength and endurance it really takes to play Iron Maiden for an hour and a half on drums. The fact that this man is doing this at 72 is nothing short of amazing. Enjoy retirement Nicko, you've earned it! I will miss your playing dearly, it's changed my life.

Nicko is the heartbeat of that band; what a unique player he always has been and we’re all the better having had him in our lives these years. Also, love his stuffie on the drum Kit, he’s always been a kid at heart 💜

I was there,it was my first maiden's show. So special and sad at the same time.

I noticed in recent 2 years band played slower live, probably due to drumming challange in Niko age, however still sound really pro in this clip. He is leaving in great style. Thanks Niko for my over 20 years of listening IM. You were great inspiration for our school band 20 years ago.
