Never a fan of the old Sat Nav VI, I swapped that for the original Carpuride 702B back in June last year (2024). Great bit of kit which works well for my use case....but I missed the ability to spin through music with the BMW wonder wheel.
Well the new 702BS brings in wonder wheel integration, so you can not only select music, but also navigate quickly through your other CarPlay enabled apps too. Its good! It also gives you a screen with the bike computer output (if you want it) showing speed, revs, temps, etc. basically mirroring the main TFT screen, but with some additional useful information.
The early 702s didn't have a 'screen off' option. This was fixed via a later software upgrade. The 702BS has this from day one.
