That said, at a typical cruise of around 31mph, you will get about 1.8mpg and at wide open throttle you’ll get around 54mph and get 1mpg. Had a 15 foot whaler when in my teens (yes, i paid for it) and a buddy of mine and I were on Ohio river trying to outrun a storm when noticed capsized Hobie cat. Both being former lifeguards dove in to help a couple who couldn’t swim. Due to waves Whaler took on water amounting to probably 1/3 full. Floating gas tanks! Performed flawlessly. If ever have another boat, will be a Boston Whaler! Never should have sold, but was getting married and needed the $!

Agree, galley placement so close so fabric will make for a nice mess eventually... Otherwise the boat is pretty great, i think, for her size.

Go for the offshore model. I'm looking for that model currently. It's more practical
