@@SouperGoop My problem with it is that other mechanics require items to counter and melee gets felted zero seconds in for free by everyone and. Also due to it's nature, it doesn't work properly; If at all with bad ping. If they don't change the melee system, it wont make it out of alpha

@@lyrebird5982 I do agree that there is a large issue with the ping, but I believe it’s here to stay no matter what due to there being so many interactions around it. I think valve is quite happy with the mechanic.

@@SouperGoop Why do you think they are happy with it? Anything in the game can be changed and the parry/melee system seems like a prime contender to be touched on. They shouldn't make a mechanic that is so important useless (in the case of ping) or so strong that it nullifies another core mechanic

@@lyrebird5982 I guess I have no way of knowing if they are happy with it but I think they like it considering there are a number of melee items, the rejuv needed to be punched and in turn contested with parry, how you can punch viscus cube, get uncontested souls from lane creeps, and it has use cases with movement. I seriously doubt it will be removed from the game, but yes I agree that the desync/ ping issues, need to be looked at and polished perfectly, which I’m sure they know as well.

Verity’s barely improves grapple damage, but if you had a strand weapon to stack the kills with, yes the gunpowder would do the increased damage. I recommend Sythos if you want to juice your grapple damage

If GPG is recharged by Scorch damage (Ergo Sum), and Verity’s is recharged by Duskfield hits…

Unfortunately no, some things work some don’t. I don’t think it “inherits” the damage type anymore, you just get the stacks and they empower all your grenades, gpg , the forerunner grenade. Unsure if it empowers prismatic grenade.

I gotta be honest bro I just killed witness and I did more damage just still hunting than I did doing this rotation. I was using an arc rocket as well and its ARC SURGE still hunt is just that strong.

Granted witness has a very easy crit and some could say still hunt we designed with that boss fight in mind. Bosses where Crits are tough this rotation will work very well on

@@WasherGareth the more I think about it it’s really just a witness thing and I guess oryx. As soon as you start missing crits with still hunt its damage falls off drastically.
