from my experience with super sentai, i've watched nearly every season from hurricaneger onwards (havent fully watched abaranger, dekaranger, or go-onger) and most of them are actually decently serious from my experience especially towards the end. of course theres also seasons like ToQger and Donbrothers which (most of the time) are INCREDIBLY non-serious, but still. oh also my favorite sentai is LuPat and nobody will change my mind about this.

I discovered this like 9 months ago thanks to a fanart of one of my NG followers did of her and inmediately fell in love (platonically) with her design (which at the time thought was meant to be mexican, by a mexican creator. Funny considering she's from Canada from where I just learned made 99% of the cartoons in the world HECKIN ARTHUR) and knew I had to search it up. I had mix feelings about how much I would like the show and it's the first show I've watched on it's entirety from start to end and leavy a high, HIGH impact on me. I don't know how my life would be withouth Ruby Gloom right now. I expected from the tile and thumbnail for this video to be one of those chill, although series reviews that are highly explanative, essay-ish and really relaxing to watch that I love to see and frequently do but I got this masterpiece instead. I would never expect a cartoon character come to life to do it, and from the start, that start of the video I could realize I was in for a treat. As much as I enjoy serious and very normal, informative and explainative videos like that I have a sweet spot for unique, comedic stuff like this ala RelaxAlax and makes me wish there were more like you, and here you are. Even if it is with your 87 likes and ALMOST thousand subs... Kudos to you, you earned a subscriber. I know it's nothing and I am probably not gonna watch all of your videos but you'll be remembered as that one weird guy that did a funny little video on the weird niche cartoon I like. Congrats for it.

I did take a bit of issue when you kept mentioning that 'Kamen Rider is for kids' when showing the horrific things that go on in Kuuga. I won't deny that Kamen Rider is a kid's show and that it's made to sell toys. But just because it's made for kids, that doesn't mean it can't be a little bit brutal and hard hitting with heavy subject matter. Why do you think shows like Avatar and Gravity Falls are so popular? Because despite being kids shows, they never talk down to them or shy them away from horrific subjects. Hell, one of the main subjects of Avatar is genocide.

The dopons and the henshins look so good in the anime. I personaly think it looks better in the anime that the original tokusatsu.

I was confused and angry but also laughing hysterically at how bad this movie was when I watched it.

I really like the way this show was made. The robots actually behave like robots (or as robotic a sentient being can be), they speak differently than humans : talking fast, making every single sentence relevent to what's happening, (which makes reading the subtitles very important, if you miss like five seconds you'll just get lost) not showing much emotion, being as neutral as they can, answering RIGHT AWAY when someone asks a question, (I know it's hard to follow dialogues, but I thought it really added to the details.) and they're doing all of this to waste as little time as possible and be as direct as they can : they behave like robots. and yet they still experience childlike wonder, empathy (I think ?), humour, ect. Even if I would've liked the story to continue and the show to get famous enough it gets traductions (do NOT talk to me about the english dub, they murdered Drossel's voice), sometimes it's better to let it be. We certainly don't need r34 of a robot that acts like a teenager. Or at least, not more.
