I went with what I know. The manuals show the dip switches where lite color is up or dark color is up so…4 position dip switches. Left to right..1,2,3 and 4. Count..1…..2….4…8. 1 in dip switch 1. Up. 15 is all dip switch’s up. Etc. it’s a binary count left to right. I have three different EG4 48 volt batteries and they finally all talk together and talk to my SolArk

The fact that its a spitting image of the m22 dymo-mite goes to show how well designed was the model 22....its literaly a heirloom item and i love it

Thank you, set my voltage to 57.4 temporarily on my Schneider charge controller and 3 of my batteries jumped to 100% from 69%, 51%, 50%. Horray. Too bad this isn't in the manual.

Ss solor need to standby there lifepower battery.i have two. 24volt 200amp bms shouting down. Under 8 month old. Do not by ss solor lifepower battery's bms problems. Ss solor update do not work.ss solor just give you the run around. If you can talk to some one.the best thing is to not by anything fron ss solor .fine a place the standbehine there battery

Just went through this nightmare. Days of trouble shooting, is it the cable, the dip switches or the inverter!? Printed manual and the online manual are clearly different.

You’ll want to put the irrigation in if you want to insure good fruit production from your trees. Be careful of infiltrating water close to or above your house foundation as it could potentially breach and debilitate your structure over time. Love the log built terraces, they have a cool look to them.

Would you consider Alma as having commercial potential? Either for fresh eating or more for processing into jams or for drying. I’m interested in the low seed crunch, potentially lower seed content, hybrid vigor and it’s overall uniqueness. Curious to know your take, definitely one I’ll be growing lots of in the future.

Very nice , I grew up with huge fig trees and I've got several that are 12-15 foot tall and full. It seemed as though the young people bought the older homes cut down the fig trees down and it seemed our southern heritage was being lost... so in early 2000 we decided to make it our mission to bring the fig tree back to as many backyards possible. We have bought, sold, traded and given many fig trees. Thanks for sharing this video! I love to hear what other people think about the different fig varieties.😊

If you search for the term "EG4 fail" you'll find many video's regarding issues with these inverters. Just curious if you're having these same problems?

I set my absorption to 57volts and float at 54.4 and i have no problem

It looks to me like you have the daisy chain communication cables wrong, the BMS cable going from the battery bank to the inverter should be at the top which should be your master battery, and every time you change the DIP switches you’ll need to reboot each single battery individually, hope this helps everyone having the same problem

HELP! I'm replacing my BMS and since I took pictures as soon as I opened the case I realized that my battery is wired differently! The orange wire that is hooked to the back bar on yours, is hooked to the front bar on mine, and the white wire is hooked to the back! I'm assuming that it makes a difference.

Got 2 of these from Solar Sovereign(subsidy of SS pretty sure) that are bricked due to a fault right now, seems they do not want to send me a replacement bms board which I could swap in 10 mins easy, they are gonna make me do the ole do this do that routine and then ship it back for an exchange....crossing my fingers they will let me get the boards, could care less if it voids any warrantee, just want them working again....I love em

i was told to not cut off the growth buds when burying beneath the soil for rooting it seemed so strange to me to leave them, now seeing you have good success i wish i had some were pretty developed and it seemed counter intuitive to leave them thanks for showing

As a Californian, let me assure you that even if that CBT had been home grown and picked at peak ripeness, it wouldn't have wowed you; they're never very good.

moving them at the first sign of roots is just fine. But only if one catch that moment. If you miss and the roots start to get curly extending beyond 1-1.5" length the risk of breaking then increases dramatically. So the next best moment is when there're lots of stronger roots. So either at the very start of the roots, or 1-1.5 months later.

Think I'd set that voltage at 56.8 for the bulk charge and let it float for a while after that. Don't know what the EG4 settings are for 100% indication but should be pretty close. That little charger you were using was pushing out max voltage and your errors were from cell over voltage at 3.65 and shut down charging from the bms. Next question is, why does your charge controller stop when you still have battery packs below 100%? You're going to have to dig that out of your controller settings for your charging parameters. Battery packs are going to charge and discharge at different rates best you can do. But as long as the charge voltage remains constant, they can float forever at 100% while the lagging batteries catch up. That's going to be dictated by your float time and something you'll have to figure out for your system as battery banks aren't all the same. The bms decides when charging stops for the pack that's obviously set to 3.65. The controller may be responding to the master sending 100% for a total for the string but not likely?

i would have used a pem engineering self clinching stud from behind then used a nut to attach the wire lug

i recommend a total recall on every unit DUDE that is such a fire hazard would not keep them anywhere close to anything that you love or is not insured and shoot a letter of liability to SS and eg4

looks like the pem nut was over torqued and reamed out the hole only to appear later and you found it dont think pem inserts do well in copper bar at first glance will watch the full vid. could be wrong
