Don't worry, even if you are not a scuba diver, you still have options to explore this wonderful underwater paradise: you can either book a discover scuba session, which requires no certification, OR you can actually complete your scuba diving training here and save yourself the cost of the fun dives!

BACK IN CORON ISLAND!🇵🇭 FLYING El Nido to Coron
มุมมอง 1.5Kปีที่แล้ว
When you’re travelling to the Philippines it is highly likely you want to visit the incredible CORON island, which is famous for its marvellous limestone cliffs, crystal clear waters, amazing sealife and most importantly, the shipwreck diving spots! If you just arrived to the Philippines, you are most likely in Manila or Cebu, which means you can easily book a direct flight to Coron/Busuanga. I...

The majestic Batad Rice Terraces! Words can't describe how beautiful this place truly is! We are hoping we succeed in showcasing at least half of its beauty in this video, but we can assure you, once you will visit, you will be swept away! Imagine an amphitheatre of rice terraces on the mountain slopes! Our jaws dropped so many times! This video is part 2 of our 2 day trekking "loop" from Banau...
BANAUE TREKKING adventure🇵🇭 REMOTE villages Pula & Cambulo
มุมมอง 2Kปีที่แล้ว
There are various treks you can do when visiting Ifugao in Luzon. Whether you choose to stay in Banaue or Batad, you can still wander on many trails. We stayed at Bogah Homestay in Banaue and went on this 2 day trek with our host, Kuya Joel. We had such a great time on this adventure, our only regret was that we didn't take the 3 days trek instead, to have more time to spend with the locals. We...
WONDERS OF LUZON🇵🇭MAYOYAO RICE TERRACES
มุมมอง 2.8Kปีที่แล้ว
On our second day in Banaue, we woke up with the sound of the river and birds, enjoyed some local coffee and we decided to rent a scooter and go on a road trip towards Mayoyao Rice Terraces. Mayoyao is about 2 hours away from Banaue. Just to mention, renting a scooter is not very common in Banaue, most people just go on organised tours, so be sure to speak to your host beforehand to arrange a s...

Places of stay at 20:15 ?
Hi Nikhil, The hotel’s name was Tea Queens Bungalow, but I can’t see it listed anywhere anymore. There is one with the same name but it is not the one we stayed at, ours was next to the Argyle. In the same area I recommend The Danish Rock bungalow, lovely place and great food. We spent 6 days there😊
@@roamaniacs thanks, much appreciated!
Beautiful and helpful video. Will be visiting soon. 😇
Thanks so much, glad you found it helpful. In fact, we might edit some more footage from Sri Lanka 🥰
I’m pilipino, but 800 pesos per night it’s too expensive for me the owner of this place take advantage of the foreigners they don’t have high maintenance of their nipa hut kubo no aircon
It could be even more expensive now, that was 2022 price :(
Thanks this beautiful video my 🇱🇰♥️🙏🏽
@@PadminiJayasuria Our pleasure. We LOVE Sri Lanka♥️
Is it best to keep your footwears in the car itself or there is some arrangement available at the top?
@@NikhilPatildriving Arrangement available at the top for a small fee. Depending on the time you go, the stairs can be hot to walk barefoot ☺️
Beautiful video. Insightful. Thanks !
@@NikhilPatildriving Thank you! 🙏
In all fairness, w/ all your vlogs you guis only the tourist ive seen🤗, how come? Hahah what month is this?
This was in 2022, when not so many tourists returned to the Philippines yet ☺️ In Balabac we had a private tour so that’s why we are alone :)
Hi iloved ur vids and i keep watching vlogs feat.balabac cause im getting the idea of what month is the best to travel here?!
@@Mhaie_TV We went early June. I think January to end of June should be fine. The seasons lately are not what they used to be, so it can be a hit and miss anytime ☺️
@@roamaniacs oh thanks! Im planning to visit by May nxtyr! Cant w8😍
@@Mhaie_TV May should be great. Be careful with the Nik Niks on the end of Onok Island (opposite to the docking port) There are SO MANY of them😭
Bentota beach?
We haven’t visited Bentota beach 😞
1 don't play with your food 2 most beautiful island? show me something if you just swim it's nothing different from most other beaches
It’s all about perspective, what’s beautiful for me might not be as beautiful for you 😊 There are plenty of places in this world to satisfy our individual visual pleasures, thankfully 🙌
Spent 5 weeks In unatuwana last January ! Fantastic country! Lovely people! Fabulous sights! We are in our 70’s and always gone to Goa! The only thing is, the beaches are gorgeous, but the sea can be very rough at times! We saw a few near misses! Did all the safaris and sights to see! Loved it! Trouble is my hubby loves to talk and not many of our nationality there! loved it though!
Agreed, the rough sea is the only reason we don’t go back yearly, even for decent swimmers like we are, it can be risky (we had a near miss too in Dikwella) Other than that, everything is amazing in Sri Lanka, I miss it so bad!♥️💚
All Europeans please live with us in this land
Not sure what you mean?
wow
@@japphineering Glad you enjoyed this video 🫶🏻
How much time it takes to cover the trail to reach the laxapana waterfall?
@@eshratsefat Not too long, maybe 30 minutes
Sri lanka also is greatest lover of animals as well
🫶🏻
It will be easily accessible from Culion soon. There is a proposal for a bridge project to connect the two islands.
@@jeanmoralles977 Whilst it will be great for the people of Culion to get more tourism income, I hope they will take measures to preserve the area 🙏
@@roamaniacs Of course they will!
Wow thanks so much for sharing. All beaches seem to be so quiet, which time of the year were you there?
@@munirah_a Between December and March. Sri Lankan beaches are generally not crowded or party beaches. But we also look for more laid back beaches :)
@@roamaniacs thanks so much for your reply🙏💜
Glad to hear you love them. Bias aside, our rice terraces are more beautiful and grand than Bali’s Tegalalang and Jatiluwi. Btw, all in all we have 48 clusters of rice terraces spread out within the mountain province, on the way to Sagada you’ll se a beautiful one next to a river.
Although the Philippines is famous for the beaches, sea and white sand, for us this was the most memorable place 😍
is the food and drinks affordable on the beach?
Yes, Sri Lanka is generally very affordable
how long did you trek?
Hey Christina, we have done the 2 day trek, but we suggest to do 3 days if you want to spend more time with the locals in the villages 😊
Thank u❤
🫶🏻
I heard Ipil beach is now a private property and there will be guards who shoo you off
Ipil yes, which is a standalone island, this is Ipil 2 Beach, along the shore between El Nido and Corong-Corong 😊
@roamaniacs oh yeah my bad, I meant Pinagbuyutan island. Thanks for letting me know
Is there a store in onok island?
There is no store, only private tours come here. But on Bugsuk island where the basecamp is, they do have a sari sari store, you can buy chips and crackers and stuff like that :)
@ 7:05 kikiam is ground pork and vegetables
Thanks 🤗
5:50 the riders saying "ride safe" to you.
Awww, so sweet of them! 🥰
next time try camping on the 3 famous mountain in benguet, mount timbak, mount pulag, mount olis. My favorite is mount olis because of the 360degree view sea of clouds.
Thanks for the recommendation, we definitely plan a more intense exploration of Luzon next time😍
@@roamaniacs nice, the view there is more scenic! its more higher and colder.
Don't touch stray dogs. U can get rabies.
I can get rabies if they bite me 😊 Just by touching you won’t get rabies..
Banaue proper is really pretty. I so love the buildings. It's soooo Filipino... :).. but as far as the rice terraces is concerned I love the Batad Rice Terraces more. It's a lot prettier than Banaue.. Thank you you for sharing your experience. I hope you had a good adventure in my country.. :) :)
Thanks for your input, agreed, Batad Rice terraces are much more beautiful 😍 Please watch the other videos we posted from the area: Mayoyao and the 2 part series on trekking from Batad to Banaue through Pula and Cambulo! I left my heart there 💚

ur explanation on how the current affects in different conditions is so bang on.. i actually experienced the washing machine effect, the way the inclined effect due to which ur thrown back to the beach.. this happened in Viets beaches.. i also experienced the pull in one of the beaches and alomost took me far off.. thank fully there were floating ball strings that i caught hold of to get back to the shore!
Thanks for sharing your experience. Glad you made it out safely! I think people don’t always take the waves seriously so it is important to raise awareness. Although we were in Dikwella for a few weeks already, we also had a horrendous experience with the rip current and almost didn’t make it out. Through the waves you could barely take a breath of air, the current would already pull you back and the second wave would drag you rights underwater. Over and over again, swimming uselessly 🥹 Luckily George managed to reach closer to shore where his feet was steady on the sand and turning back he managed to catch those few seconds between to waves and current to come and pull me out🙏 I’m a decent enough swimmer, but after so many tries to get out and always getting pulled back in, I was almost certain that would be my last day. Incredibly grateful to be alive! 💚🙏
@@roamaniacsphew! that was exactly my experience in Vietnam 🤣🤣🤣.. only that i had the safety of the ball strings.. Glad u had George by ur side! i know how it feels🤤
I like your content!
Thanks Marius! 🤗
What drone do you use?
Hi! In this video we used DJI Mavic Air 2S 😊
This the Paradies . We was 8 weeks in hikkaduwa
We miss Sri Lanka dearly and plan to visit again in the future ❤️🥹
We visit Sri Lanka in the next Winter time. We are thinking this time for 3 month. When we are landing in Colombo we drive this time to east side and drive to the west side. We was 8 weeks back in Germany and miss this country all people are friendly and here in Germany is the feeling not so good, the most people are aggressive but in Sri Lanka everybody is smiling and say hello or good morning. I wish you visit so fast you can Sri Lanka 🇱🇰
i hope you also visit Tubbataha reef in Philippines as well.. beautiful
Yes, we are aiming to do that in the future when budget allows 🙏
where did you learn the term "chismis" area? very hilarious ahahahah😂
Hahaha, I worked with a lot of Filipinos😆

The Cordillera region in Northern Luzon is probably one of the most beautiful places in the Philippines. As a Filipino living in Metro Manila, this place is my favorite escape for its beautiful mountain ranges, cooler climate, very friendly people, and largely preserved cultural traditions. It is also a good decision to travel the region on two wheels, as there are a lot of beautiful views that you can easily miss out on when stuck inside a car. I hope you enjoyed the your short time staying there.
It is our favorite part of the Philippines so far and we can’t wait to go back there one day. There is so much more to experience there and stories to be heard from locals 🙏

Yes
😊
thanks for sharing very informative! btw, what month did u go?
This was early June (5-8 June). Happy to hear the information is useful!
1540 euros a month on just food and drink lol that's insane
Maybe it is not clear enough that this was not spent just living in our home town in a van. These are expenses while travelling in a campervan in Italy. Explained it in the comments that we were eating out once a week for this reason ☺️ Grocery expenses were lower the next month when we were in Sicily and supermarkets are slightly cheaper.
