Italian society isn't racist. I, myself, am mixed (My father is Italian and my mother is a daughter of a Native Brazilian and a Black women) and I never suffered with racism while visiting my family in Udine, or in any part of the country for a matter of fact. What Italian society does have is lots and lots of xenophobia. That's the way the Mussolini generation was taught, and they passed it down to their children and so on and so on. For a REAL Italiano, your skin colour doesn't matter at all. Your birthplace matters the most, because we honor our madre patria everywhere we go. Remember that you, as an American, caused great pain to Italian refugees and imigrants for decades on the east coast and on the midwest, and that hasn't gone unnoticed. When we say “your kind”, we don’t mean black people. We mean ignorant and sensitive Yanquis like you who think that they own the world and that everyone must give you respect, even though you forget that you didn't give ANYONE respect. Why do you think that Africans look down upon African-americans so much? Think about that and you'll understand why Italian society is the way that it is. Your way is the anglo-saxon way. Always take what's not yours, and expect applause. Use others for their strengh just to put them down. Know your place, Yanqui.

I hear black women like to go too Italy to meet Rich Italy men. She look very healthy and wealthy and still talking shiit. I seen many white Italian that homeless and not healthy or wealthy like her. As a black person, I am so fuking tired see black sllut biitch like going to another culture country and talk shiit about them and demonized them. If you don’t like the country, then leave there country. It always black women. I never see Asian, Spanish women, or white talk crap about another country they go to.

I’ve been to Milan, Varenna and Monza. I travelled by bus, coach, train and subway and had no problems. I got directions from strangers and all were helpful

It’s perfectly normal to have preferences. I’m Mexican and was well received in Italy but not so welcomed in Cuba. I’m not gonna cry and call Cubans racists just because we didn’t vibe. The connection humans make with others happens naturally and it’s NOT meant to be forced to feel included. Stick to the cultures you vibe with and you’ll be fine.

I’m actually shocked because I’m a dark skinned Indian American and Italians who visit America are so kind to me despite me not being white and being heavily tatted they treated me like a human being so this is kind of wild to hear. The Italians treated me better than my own countrymen.
