It wouldn’t be much of a problem but he just had his most concerning game in probably all his nfl starts. 2 interceptions, one was a blatant pass to the opposing team. Turner is making AR better. You dkwtf you're talking about. It doesn't matter how good a coach is, the player has to execute. AR is overthinking it. He's too worried about screwing up, so not allowing his body to just do it. That's the difference between inexperience, and veteran athletes. AR said it himself during his media availability. He's not handling the moments right. Its too big for him right now. That has nothing to do with the coaching. He just needs to relax, and have fun again. Stop thinking, and just play. AR is the reason AR is sucking right now. He's getting in his own way.

Jalen Hurts was never a prolific passer. The guy was benched in the national championship game if you all remember. He had the same traits as AR, athletic but needed work. Jalen Hurts had a 50% comp pct his first year. Then the Eagles brought in Sirianni and Steichen and in his second year still posted had a high 50 something comp pct while making it to the playoffs. Then finally Steichen took over the play call duties and took Hurts and the Eagles one bad holding penalty away from winning the super bowl. Point is Hurts had the same traits and flaws as AR and eventually became the man. Lets hope AR develops into someone of that caliber as well.

  • @solidjake93

When the point is made about how little games he’s played, are we seriously a good fit for a project? Under a GM who refuses to make moves? We aren’t gonna go out and get him a good receiving core, we aren’t gonna magically have good tight ends, I think people are falsely conflating fans saying he isn’t ready with blaming him for being bad. Look at Washington and their rookie QB, look at Caleb Williams who threw for 350 yards on Sunday, even Will Levis is rated higher. AR is worst in the league and the colts aren’t the place for that. We needed a better pick, and we are tired of waiting another season just to see the same shit. It’s frustration man and most rationale people want better from the org, not blaming a young kid for being on a team he didn’t get to choose. Fact of the matter, he’s not ready, he’s not good, and from the looks of it, it’s gonna be years more of that which blows.

I still think he looks good, maybe not as good as he did in the few games last year. I feel he (whether by his decision or coaching) took two steps back to go forward in the right direction. How many 60+ rushing games does he have this year including preseason? 0 they've obviously put the breaks on his rushing mentality to get his basics worked out. It might be ugly this season as he works on his biggest weakness, throwing from the pocket, but this will make AR a more dependable quarterback going forward.

OK, first, they played the Bears. Still, they struggled to beat this team. Offense: AR is not consistent, their receivers continue to drop the few good passes he makes, he fails to set his feet to make the passes to wide open receivers. AR consistently overthrowing and not even coming close to hitting his wide open receivers. He needs to set his feet and follow through, but it's not happening. JT is simply carrying this team's O right now. Credit to the line and the down field blocking by the TEs and receivers, not to mention, his incredible vision and elusiveness. Defense: much better today and they demonstrated their pride and spirit today! Linebackers and DBs were killing it today. Latu, Bryan, and D Line made their impact today and it was great to see. 2 INTs by Jones, INCREDIBLE! Can we sustain these injuries and maintain, that's the question.

And how did the all might god Stroud do against the Bears. They only won by 6 and they were at home as well

Colts won, but at the same time, we can't ignore the elephant in the room. Losing Kenny Moore, kwity paye, and flowers. I'm happy they won, but at what cost down the road, the injuries can come back next week, hurt the Colts on defense side.
