It's a really nice, cheap bottle ($23.99 in my area) for easy holiday sipping and sharing. Throw it in some eggnog too! Beautiful tree.

The VDC single malts & blends were my introduction to single malt whiskies. It took a while to evolve my palate, but now I really like their releases.

I wouldn't call 1792 BIB either bottom or top shelf...if there were four shelves, I would put it on the second shelf. Not saying it's bad at all, it's a pretty good pour. I like the 1792 Full Proof and 12 year even better.

I came across this bottle a few weeks ago and that particular store had it priced at $599

I don’t really drink malt whiskies, but you make this one sound great.

Great job! I heard this was a sweet batch on another channel. So, you disagree? I'm not a huge fan of spice in bourbon. In rye, sure, but not bourbon. I skipped 01 and didn't like 02. I grabbed Reserves (yum!). If this is spicy, it gives me pause. Cheers!

1792 was the year Kentucky started, separating from Virginia to the east. I am a fan of spending $21 to $37 a bottle, but $42 a bottle is not too much more although I have not tried this one yet. I am a fan of 90 to 100 proof, because it lowers the price other than Benchmark Full Proof at 125 proof that I bought a bottle of to try but was underwhelmed by it.

Love the 1792 offerings. I have a 1792 Single Barrel store pick and a 1792 Full Proof that are fantastic. My favorite is the 1792 Twelve Year. 🥃

I wouldn't give to much weight to published tasting notes, as the blender's experience is much different from ours. They get the samples at barrel proof, and then add water which releases flavors and aromas in that moment. For us, the whiskey is proofed down prior to bottling, and those flavors and aromas don't necessarily make it into the bottle because they were released in the vatting. Another crisp and well edited video.👍

The BIB is one of my favorite 1792 expressions. The 12 year beats it for me. I taste more of what you said than the tasting notes you read. Great video.

its not a new limited release....its always available...been getting it for years....mainly a mixer...goes great in ginger ale...with the crown royal apple

Ole Smoky moonshine out of Gatlinburg Tennessee has a salted caramel moonshine that tastes good. However, it is even lower than 70 proof and a sugar bomb, the opposite of straight bourbon.

It’s never limited edition they always say that but once sales hit a specific number they keep it until 4 flavors later

I'm not much for the subject matter (not a Crown fan), but the video was well edited, got to the point, but still felt like "you." It almost made me want to pick up a jug of cider and Crown Caramel for Thanksgiving. Almost.👍

Had the KB 9 and it is definitely better than the regular lineup of buffalo trace bourbons I’ve had so far, eagle rare, Weller special and Blantons. I still have to compare it to my EH Taylor that I haven’t opened yet

Excellent review and great video! Small tip when trying to pick up the subtle aromas in the bourbon. Try not to swirl the glass like a wine. By doing this it releases the strong ethanol smell and will diminish the aromas. Just pour it, let it breathe and settle, then give it a smell.

Those was seals give us all a hard time on occasion. If you have a lighter you can use it to soften the was to make it more pliable
