    How long did it take you to render? I might consider getting 128GB ram instead of the 64 I initially thought based on your specs. Planning to work on my biggest archviz project yet on unreal. It will consist on a series of buildings. Between 30 & 25 within an estate. I want to be able to explore the estate by walking using VR goggles and be able to walk inside three of the buildings and use various items like turn on the lights, the TV, use the elevator, turn on the shower and even create some animated birds flying and settling on trees. A few butterflies and so on... 128GB wouldn't have any issues with my scale would it?

      Hi! My machine is currently one and a half years old. When it was built, I thought that I would be able to work with it for at least 4-5 years. The unreal program is good in that it renders very quickly if you don't use path tracing. Some render animations (5-8 seconds) are completed in 1 minute, after which only minor post-work follows. Recently, I was asked to animate the exterior of 40 buildings, so this configuration was no problem either. I was more bothered by the disappearance of the grass. When the camera is close, everything is perfect, there is no grass from 20-30m away...😏

      @@tivadarbrindza736 I will not animat. Changed my mind on that. I'll just walk around and video using VR goggles as 1st person POV. The only thing I'll add is make some flight path animations for some birds, butterflies and bees and I want the path animation active as I explore. Other things I want to enable is the possibilities of turning on the tap, light switches, opening every door and most of the cupboards within the single or two houses I'd be exploring. So it's an estate with 25 houses with the possibility of exploring the exterior and interior of one or two by walking using VR while I make a video using a screen recorder. Will 128gb of ram be too much? The other houses will just have modelled exteriors which I'll explore from the outside except like 2 or 3. Of course the ones I want to explore the interiors will have furnitures and stuff. Some animations like the TVs, lights, elevators, fountain, pool water effect, automated window blinds, curtains affected by breeze.etc What's your input? Additionally did you use 3ds Max or blender for the 3D modelling?

    ¿So why take the time to use UE when you can use Twinmotion, (the Archviz app based on UE) instead? Is there any kind of advantage?

    • @tivadarbrindza736
      @tivadarbrindza736 ปีที่แล้ว

      This is a very good question. I build the houses in the Archicad program and I was looking for a solution that was sufficiently versatile and professional. I practiced a couple of renders in Twinmotion and I didn't like the result. In the evening or in bad weather, I still see the pictures as beautiful, but in sunny weather, this can no longer be said. With Unreal Engine, you have Nanite, Lumen and more setting options, but the learning curve is steeper. I started learning Unreal Engine 14 months ago, and although it's not easy, I've come to love it. The other question is what AI rendering will be like in the future, who will replace animation in this quality?
