I’ve been buying Guatemala San Sebastián for years ( it’s my favorite from Peet’s) and one reason I like it is because it’s not especially smokey. I’m really curious about your review since I’ve never encountered that excessively dark almost French roast quality with those beans. It’s always been more of a medium dark, chocolate flavor, not acidic or bitter. I wonder if you just got an uncharacteristically over-roasted sample. That happened to me once and I returned it. I use it for pour over, moka pot, and even espresso - usually as a latte . I dislike burnt flavors in my coffee ( eg charbucks) so this review really surprised me.

This is my favourite local coffee, actually. Just a newbie question for you, am I missing much by just using this as a normal coffee, as opposed to using the traditional espresso process? I've always wondered, thanks!

They both very good... for bold flavor i like illy extra bold and for more creamy and smooth the lavazza oro is great too.

love the videos, seems like you tried a lot from denver, would you also try sweet bloom coffee or kaladi's?

These must be robusta beans. I bought this coffee and could not find anywhere if they were robusta or arabica. I though it would be a quality espresso based on the rankings but not what I expected in an espresso at all. I will assume they’re robusta. Can’t say I like it at all.

Caffeine is the devil! Interacts with alot of medications. It works for a few days but then you need more to get the same result! So many side effects! EVIL!

I tried this once. Had a full mug of it late at night and didn't notice the caffeine at all. Caffeine doesn't have any noticeable effect on me for some reason.
