In fact they both are similar and very great. The Gaia has a little more edge in some frequences, the lakshmi is a little more round , full an dark, the gaia a little brighter. I play both and it is difficult to say which is better. If I must choose between both I would prefer the gaia a little bit. Ah, with the lakshmi it ´s a little more easier to get the top tones.

And some people don't even sound good with a 14000 dollar setup lol...what's your setup and what do you sound like??😮😮😊

Sorry, I forgot it, because I try several reeds: Maca, Vandoren, Syos, Bettersax. The Mouthpiece hasa 7 zip opening and I play 2,5 reeds on it. But my favorite reeds are the Woodstone reeds.

The next time I take a little less reverb, but for this style of music I like the reverb as well. I have for example less reverb on the song from Norah Jones, I don´t know why

as a 50 yr pro and a woodwind tech I'll say Yas23 and YTS23 are better horns that half of what's out there now .

​@@zangsaxnot in refrence to any Selmer. Even YAS62 can't match up. Maybe with the likes of cannonball you can compare YAS23

I guess that's a joke cos even a YTS62 wont stack uo to any Selmer when it comes to sound and tonal balance

I feel the Jody HH is an outstanding mouthpiece. I use the same HH MP with power ring with my reference 54 and Brushed Gold Supreme. Love it.@@michaelr.4694
