In a controversial book, she argues that foreign aid has been a disaster for Africa and must be stopped. Moyo was born and raised in Zambia, but educated at Oxford and Harvard. She has worked for both the World Bank and Goldman Sachs. Her book is call "Dead Aid"

So celebrities need to invest in mosquito net making companies than dumping free nets. Free nets drives out companies that are there now....so in investing into these companies, isn't that becoming a "threat of a new entrant"? And there by still driving the current companies out of businesses? How does this "investment" take form? Give it to the current companies? Isn't that going against what you are "preaching" now? Concerning giving aid, you can see a similar picture within the United States where the federal government takes money from individuals in the states and disburses it back to the state, county, and city governments. Flint, Michigan's water problems, for example, were the fault of the city government. Africa is such a big place. Isn't there a lot of Islamic terrorism there, historically and presently?
We need to be educating a new generation of healthcare workers IN Africa for Africa. Rather than volunteering for a month or so, be a clinical facilitator for African students and help train a new and improved healthcare force for African countries who need it most.
