Welcome to my channel! I am a pianist and teacher based in Sydney, Australia. My studio is based in NW Sydney, and I specialise in teaching advanced piano technique with a strong focus on performance. My teaching style is best suited for advanced students such as HSC/diploma candidates, tertiary students, as well as teachers who are aiming to increase technical skills and develop more in their professional capacity. I offer face-to-face teaching or lessons can be done online using Zoom, Skype, FB Messenger et al.
In this channel I aim to upload videos of piano pieces played at different speeds to help students benefit from hearing their pieces played slowly in order to maximise their learning.

I can play the song, but not as good as him!!
Alwaygs found it daunting trying to find/apply the right ornamentation scenario in Frederick Neumann's massive book, "Ornamentation in Baroque and Post-Baroque Music", to material like this and listening to the likes of Ivo Pogorelich play this, i couldn't make heads or tails of that ornamentation. This is the correct way to learn these etudes.
This is too fast, it is falling apart in a few places and tone is not even. You should play 3/4 this speed only.
@@21Cauzzie No, this does not sound good, it sound rushed playing above his clean playing ability, as i said 3/4 of this speed for this pianist would work. And for the likes of you who would like to be able to play like this, it's a shallow unmusical desire based showing off speed, just like people like to have the fastest car, it leads to poor behavior on the road, and in music it leads to messy playing.
