this is not as good when recorded than real time with the goggles! I made some more paterns today with the Viper70, and really enjoy to have the OSD. My work at home tonight is to revert back to analogic on my Funjet and add headtracking! I flew the Funjet yesterday with DJI, and got lost with no OSD, and had forget to program failsafe on a new RX! so the motor quitted when I got out of range and recovered the plane after long researches and a lot of luck! Are friends where you fly using TBS crossfire? I am thinking about it, range is poor with 2.4 jhz where I fly due to surrounding trees!

Yeah, DJI is strictly VFR for now! lol. None of the FPV pilots here are using TBS Crossfire. Maybe a few of the quad guys. However, we are flying near a wildlife sanctuary and restricted to the borders of our field. You are fortunate to be at a place where you can fly long range FPV. Dragonlink is another long-range system that was quite popular a couple of years ago. You may want to check into that one.

@@kath011 I know Dragonlink but never used, had spanish LRF, still some Rx's and Tx module in a box, and still use Immersion RC EZUHF.

Also, Taranis uses a built-in long-range module on its transmitters. It operates on 900mhz and has multiple power options. Now that is the system I would use. A few of the quad and fix wing guys here are using Taranis transmitters. Taranis Frsky.

I sold my Taranis because I found it quite difficult to configurate a model with it, and switched to Spektrum, but for sure, FRsky is a first class radio set and very affordable, with a lot of options...a geek is more at ease to use it than an old modeler! BTW, is it difficult to configurate the Medelin head tracking with the DX9? just received mine!

I used what I found in my drawers: carbon rod with teflon tube, depron and adhesive tape, and a horn made from an epoxy board...servo is bonded on the canopy.

le point de toucher que l'on doit viser, surtout moteur coupé, ce sont les plots, pas le seuil de piste. Pour l'atterrissage court au moteur, j'aurais dû dire "roulement sur 100m" et non atterrissage car l'atterrissage comprend le passage des 15m, et alors la distance est plus proche des 220m. Lisez bien, je n'ai jamais parlé d'atterrissage en 100m moteur calé, mais de PRECISION d'atterrissage moteur calé!
