I would strongly suggest re-watching this in the live vocals version on The First Take ... not only can you see who is singing at a given moment, they sound live actually even better than in the studio production. Besides that ... for the third cornerstone of XG's music style, beyond the rap and the RnB stuff, I would say go to IYKYK next. It's - again - like a completely different group.

Auto-Matic Sun! It hits hard like this song… and i can't decide which is better? Honestly, i think Automatic sun is better. PLUS! The girls say it's their favorite song to play!

Pau back there killing it as if she didn't just spill her heart and soul out all over the stage just a minute before. The one minor thing I'd change about this is to quiet the strings down just a little bit at the end. They almost washed out the final riff.

I am excited for this XG journey, I like how you express your thoughts on the screen while listening to the song. Tbh, Winter Without You The First Take is even better, they sing live. I'm proud to be an XG fan because I can't find any of their songs that are bad, and I confidently say they are the number 1 in the world right now without any big fame from an existing community like KPOP, XG's company is a new company, and KPOP groups are all in companies with global abs promotion and they already have a KPOP community after the success of BTS and BP, these girls are so comprehensive from rap to singing and dancing and especially rap, XG's rap is always said by the world and everyone in hiphop to have high damage and the world's rap flow, a flow full of hiphop, their rap is based on a lot of information in the world, it's completely different from the rap of KPOP groups, currently no one can touch them

Hola amigo. Has ingresado a la zona más profunda de The Warning. Por lo que podemos darle algo de contexto sobre "Breathe" y la noche del show en el Pepsi Center. Paulina (la baterista) incluyó "Breathe" en el bonus track del tercer álbum llamado "Error". En su momento dijo que no la iba a interpretar en vivo porque era una canción muy personal y muy sentida para ella. Cuando The Warning presentó su álbum "Error" en el Teatro Metropolitan de Ciudad de México en el 2022, se escuchó la pista de la canción "Breathe" en el interludio del concierto. Paulina en ese momento se negó a interpretar la canción en vivo. Finalmente, en octubre del 2023, en el concierto del Pepsi Center, creo que Paulina encontró la oportunidad ante 8 mil personas de exorcizar la canción y de alguna manera sacar la pesada carga emocional que llevaba dentro de sí. Un detalle a resaltar. Paulina junto a sus hermanas llegaron a México luego de una gira por Sudamérica con un contagio de gripe muy fuerte. Es posible que se hayan contagiado de gripe aviar. Está gripe fuerte que produce infección en la garganta, dolores musculares, tos permanente y fiebres muy altas hizo peligrar los conciertos en México. Sin embargo, dicho por Luis Villarreal (el padre de las hermanas) ellas decidieron avanzar con el calendario y someterse a un tratamiento médico intensivo, con inyecciones antivirales y antiinflamatorios para bajar la fiebre, reducir los dolores musculares y la inflamación de la garganta. That string intro is something else, isn't it? Like millions of people, I had gotten just *sick* of this song being over-played on the radio. Just _done_ with it. And then these ladies came along, and turned it all upside-down. I'd *much* rather listen to this than the original... and the best part is, Metallica _asked_ them to do it!!

The Warning did the right thing here. It's a cover of an iconic song, which I don't usually like to see bigger bands do- Why?. But it is different enough to make it interesting, because the orchestral elements. Dani is not much of a shredder on guitar, but in their normal music she doesn't need to be as It's a whole band sound. Anyway looking forward to seeing them in April 2025. For me, they are currently one the big three live rock bands- Band-Maid, Love Bites and The Warning- all different genres, although Koiai are getting some of my attention right now. (UK)

Hi vintage_sol, listening to any of The Warning songs for the first time, I always got this massive sense of pride, where that came from I have no idea but it just goes to show when you know you love something in music it also encompasses who's playing it and then the respect to and for them that just gets confirmed with every new song. Cheers for your reaction.

One recommendation I have, since you seem to really enjoying their work, is to watch a short 20 minute mini-doc in their own words describing how they came to be and a little perspective on their growth. It is a fascinating look at their history and you can see how articulate and charming they are at such a young age. It’s a couple years old but that doesn’t matter, it’s still a good little history. It’s called Tidal Rising:The Mexican Rock Stars Who Happen to Be Sisters. You can watch on your own or lots of us will watch it with you. Guaranteed.

As for the intensity of emotion they conjure, it’s truly a gift. They have had a very supportive and loving family life. When asked in interviews how they can sing of such adult life experiences that always say “we read a lot.” Which is true, before they became so busy they always had live chats with their fans regularly and talked about what they were reading and what they were listening to. During the pandemic they did baking videos, which were hilarious, and did karaoke, played video games, taught each other their instrument, all these videos are evidence that they are basically just level headed, well adjusted normal young people.

Enter Sandman V2. Metallica should just sign over the rights to The Warning. There are 3 versions since they played it when Dany was the oldest at 14 years old. This is the only version performed with strings so far. This was their tenth anniversary show and the strings were students from a local music conservatory in their hometown, Monterrey. How exciting it must have been for them to be asked to play a rock song with The Warning for an audience of 8000 people. The sisters can do anything. They are not merely a good band, they will be hall of famers.

Yeah, stunning, isn't it? I love this. I can't stand Metallica's version, as it was played WAY too much back in the day. The Warning and Alessia Cara took it apart and put it back together as it should be. Then Rudy, The Warning's manager, suggested strings. They hired ten musicians and a conductor/arranger to score it. Freaking amazing.

This is my number one, Jinjer performance. Outlander comes close, followed by Vortex and On the Top.

The string ensemble accompanying "Black Holes" and "Enter Sandman" was a special addition for The Warning's 10th anniversary concerts last year. Metallica had asked The Warning to cover "Enter Sandman" in collaboration with Canadian pop singer Alessia Cara for *The Metallica Blacklist* album, celebrating the 30th anniversary of *The Black Album* in 2021. Lars Ulrich told all the bands involved, "Pick a song. Do what you want with it. If you want to play it backwards or turn it on its head, we respect and appreciate it." The Warning and Alessia composed and recorded their version in just 10 days over Zoom. Since Alessia couldn’t travel to Mexico due to COVID, she appears as a projection in the official music video. They performed their version live with Alessia once as a special event. In other performances, her "woah woah" vocals are included on the backing track. Another notable performance of their version, without the string section, was at Teatro Metropolitan in 2022. The Warning’s connection to "Enter Sandman" dates back to 2014, when Dany was 14, Pau was 12, and Ale was just 9. They recorded a straightforward cover and uploaded it to TH-cam because the file was too large to email to their family. The video went viral and now has over 26 million views and essentially launched their career. Metallica's guitarist Kirk Hammett even tweeted, "the drummer kicks maximum ass!" about their 2014 cover.
