I find it funny that you were surprised at the total you are spending. Personally, I think a lot of that is unnecessary spending, but if it works for your business then good for you.

Thanks for the videos. I've been resin printing over a year but got the FDM bug and considered doing fdm as a side gig. What printers do you recommend when getting into this as a side gig? Bambu X1C, P1S or some other company? Love the info and will definitely check out your subscription. BTW sub'd and liked.

2-$300 a day on average on amazon. The key is functional items and own the design. Low print time as well. My items print in 33 minutes and i own 4 p1s. So thats 8 products an hour on average.

Also another great starter 3D printer is the Elegoo Neptune 3 pro. Auto level and that thing just prints non-stop. No as fast as the P1P but definitely not as expensive either. The price trade off you get is really only about speed of the CoreXY design.

How challenging was it for you to design this? Is 3D modelling very difficult (do you have to hold an engineer mindset)?

Did you buy the files to print this or did you write the code itself that can generate this? Moreover, did you physically add to this or had it all been printed? Thanks!

One thing I noticed, using this and my in-house system doesn't balance out. As it shows what I use in-house balances out with what matches in my Bank, while the program data output says I should have "Less" money. I am not sure if I imputed something wrong or not, but I am personally unable to use this for correct data as of right now. Any advise or way I could contact you about this at all? Many thanks!

Since you have your own designs, do you had to go thru the process of trademark, copyright and or patent your designs? I'm about to start a 3d printing business with my own designs but I would like to know if its necesary to cover those 3 areas in order to avoid someone to steal my idea.

Anycubic kobra 2 neo (150-180$), anycubic pla filaments (black or white) and you don't need any setup. You can buy 5 of them and print. Slower if you consider only 1 but with 5 you are faster than 1 bamboo lab. First and only upgrade an enclosure, a cheap soft box one is more than enough

Love this but cant use it cos of the currency.. I’m from Sweden and I can’t fill in my kw/h. That would be 0.066 dollars or in SEK 0.70 kw/h. But I can’t register that. 😢. This site is exactly what I need so adding different currencies to this would be awesome!

I just started 3d printing last month. Started off with a ender 3 v2 then upgraded to a K1. Once I get further in I plan on getting a x1c or P1P

Instead of steel balls for weight I switched to fish tank gravel. I got a 5lb bag from a local pet store for under $10. For the same price I got less than a half pound of steel balls.

Literally the ONLY reason I'd EVER buy an iphone would be for the little clock and callendar when it's sitting horizontally on the charger. That's about the most useful feature of an iphone. Then I'd have my Samsung for everything else.

No one wanting to run a print farm should buy a bamboo labs printer and anyone that suggests it is either uninformed or an idiot. 1) You HAVE to use their own slicer (or Orca Slicer which is basically the same thing) and their slicer is a cloud based slicer. Using it means uploading to the cloud which means a) they have access and a licence to, your models and b) if you ever do custom work for people, you would have to buy new printers because you wouldn't be able to print their IP on your bamboo labs because you are transfering a license you don't own, to a third party. Thus commiting copyright theft at minimum and possibly even breaking an NDA. 2) The system they use in their upper models is set up in a way that they can, at anypoint, lock their system to using only their filament. They have said they won't do that, but why introduce a system you have no intention to use? It is a waste of money. 3) Bamboo Labs printers are technically illegal. The system was built on an Opensource platform which not only do they not provide credit to but they have illegally closed the source off to create an enclosed system. 4) Price. The Opensource system mentioned above, core XY is used in multiple other printers. For example, the Sovol SV08. It is basically an identical printer to the carbon for half the price. Sure the SV 08 isn't enclosed nore does it have LIDAR but do you need them? Edit. The SV08 is bigger than the carbon for half the price and the same print speed.

You are also assuming that Etsy will work out. I tried to open up an Etsy shop with some 3d printed desk accessories but I was immediately banned after opening the shop (seconds after going live), and when I tried to appeal I was permanently suspended. I never received a message for why the suspension happened in the first place, even though I made sure I followed all the guidelines and avoided any copyright issues.
