A few weeks ago we put our 1000 HP daily driver package through its paces at Elvington Airfield.
Timed on track over a measured mile and 1.2 miles.

Full strip down of a brand new 2023 F9x BMW M5 engine in preparation for upgraded parts. This engine will be fitted with our MR1400 Rod kit, MV Head Stud kit and our 1200HP rated turbos.
1000hp BMW F90 M5 Turbo Install

Start to finish installation of a pair of MRV1000 turbos on a F90 M5. After having a full engine build last year with our forged rod engine package the customer decided he wanted to go a step further. With this option the performance is significantly increased but also it’s much safer for the engine in the long term. Tuned by @EvolveAutomotive build by @Mr_Vanos_UK
What turbos are these?
If you were looking for an f90 m5 to build similar to yours, pistons, tune, other performance bits for a sub 10 second car, are there any particular years of the f90 or sub models, comp or cs, that would be best?

1200hp my goodness, how much psi of boost are you running on this engine?? I have a n63tu with slightly bigger turbos and 22 psi of boost and sometimes I feel like the drivetrain is at it s limits. Cant imagine what this kind of power must feel like :)
quick question , can i run this full entire build without going full 1000hp . i think 700 on the crank is enaf, just want to make the car future proof

I have chance use MR.VANOS for my z3m s50b32 vanos change.Normalny i leave mechanic when is doing something with my cars but when i see how this Guy is working with my car i couldnt go away that was WORK OF ART. This Guy is on another level of car specialist. 100% recomended !!!!

Engine is not older as 5 months, and already more hp than factory!Is it special order ?it didnt even went through bmw engine test!
Did you tune your car after that turbo upgrade
Amazingly fast! And this is on a non-prepped airport runway. On a prepped drag strip with a good launch, you’ll be even faster. The 9.68 in the 1/4 mile at 145 mph is very impressive. And to see the speed keep climbing rapidly all the way to the 1 mile marker at over 205 mph is quite an accomplishment too!
Still not as fast as the civic with the giant exhaust that goes by my house at 3am

Can you provide some backstory? It looks like an almost new engine is being torn down so the stock rods can be replaced with Arrow rods.
It was a brand new crate engine from BMW that was stripped for rods and head studs.

How is this much safer long term for the engine?
We have covered over 20 k miles and over 1500 1:4 mile launches. Also we run more power than this usually.
I’m looking to do that to a 2022 M8 competition. Can I do that to my motor? Is there a place in the USA that can do that?

On a new build or late F90 we don’t, if early S63 we will remove them to do the valve stem seals
Isn't the stock M5 engine already comes with forged crank, rods and pistons? I believe the M550i only has forged crank and rods but cast hypereutectic pistons?
Evolve installed forged internals on their 1000 hp build.
They do but the rods aren’t strong enough. The pistons are cast but very very strong. We use stock pistons on our MV1400 rods
@Mr_Vanos_UK I would not use ANY cast pistons in a performance build up. There's NO cast pistons that would be stronger than a good forged ones. Funny that you're saying stock forged rods are not strong enough but then you would use cast pistons on a 1000hp build up.
@@zzzzVIDEOSzzzz they are working for us so far without issue and have done for 3 years. Multiple big power builds. Mahle motorsport m142 pistons are as good as they come. Our car is top 3 fastest in the world for F90. Good tuning is the key.
@Mr_Vanos_UK Oh...you didn't mentioned Mahle M142 pistons originally. Those are not cast. They're latest and greatest forging with higher silicon content than the regular 2618 or 4032 to reduce the issue with high expansion rate of regular forged pistons. Plus they have high tech Phosphate and Grafal dry lubricant coatings and anodized top ring grove to protect against micro welding of the top ring plus generous ring land material for high boost application. Typically not the properties of cast pistons even hypereutectic ones. Far from it. Awesome! Carry on. 👍👍👍

How much whp?
Depends on tuning level, anything from 850 to 1050 with the right supporting mods and fuelling.

No thats only needed for running E85
