the importance of super bowl 3 this super bowl is far more important than you think. Super Bowl 3 is often forgotten by many people due to it being so long ago but it has left a huge impact on the league. This was during the peak of the AFL and NFL issue with the merger and many people feared the AFL cannot stack up so this game was the ultimate underdog story.
The new york jets took on the titan baltimore colts in the super bowl and can the AFL's Jets prove themselves or will the league crumble. Here I will be going over the incredible story and importance of super bowl 3.

Dan Marino | A Legacy Of Failure.
มุมมอง 1.4Kปีที่แล้ว
Dan Marino a legacy of failure? It is a controversial take I know but there is no doubt that Dan Marino was a one-of-a-kind talent, with amazing throwing abilities along with fantastic pocket presence Marino shook the NFL landscape in 1984 and being one of the greatest passers ever but behind all of it is a Legacy of failure? More like his failure to win a ring despite many good opportunities. ...

What Was The NFL Really Like 100 Years Ago
มุมมอง 9363 ปีที่แล้ว
what was the nfl like 100 years ago? Its a very hard question to answer here. 100 years ago back in 1921 was extremely different, many different rules, players and the fanbase was a lot smaller back in those days as well. Heck you couldn't even watch full games in your own TV. You would have to go out to an actual game to see. College football was a lot bigger then the NFL was 100 years ago. So...

5 Ways To Fix The NFL | "Make The NFL Great Again"

5 Ways To Fix The NFL | "Make The NFL Great Again"
Randall was the better QB.
Dallas Defense number 1 in 92 and 93
Are u high? Older players didn't have pads & real helmets! Would they stack up? New rules protect new players & this they are soft as hell! Think about some records that were set and stood 25+ years thru protection being added and didn't even get broken until a super elite hall of fame player broke em... New players would be beaten senseless then complain back then 😂
Just 1 minute in and it seems like Peyton Manning was playing madden on rookie difficulty with just how unreal those passes are.
How can you not pick Muniz number 1?
RB needs to include James Brooks
Can you imagine both Randall and Mike Vick playing in this era...cash
😂Chicago staleys -not stanleys
Where are the 1991 Eagles? Check the stats. I'd put them up against any team - Reggie White, Jerome Brown, Seth Joyner, Clyde Simmons, Eric Allen.
Errors galore: Patriots missed the playoffs in 2002, Patriots made the Super Bowl in 2011 (and lost it)
Most of the time there was almost no blocking by the linemen when Randall played with the Eagles. That is why he had the injuries. When the ball was shifted back to him, it was time to run for his life. As a Philly fan, I was excited by both of them. But when Randall was quarterback, you knew that anything was possible. He often made big yards out of nothing. There was the 91-yard punt, and the time he leaped over two defenders, one of which was trying to tackle him high, while the other was going low. The truth is, Cunningham was ahead of his time. Neither the game nor the coaching were prepared to truly utilize his talents.
I consider the ‘85 Bears the best single season team in NFL history, and if Buddy Ryan would have stayed, more rings would have been on the teammates fingers
Marq---your title says it all and describes Marino's overall Career very accurately. It doesn't matter if a QB has any Rings, but it does matter how he played when his team had a chance for success. That is where Marino was a failure. In 75% of his biggest games he was a failure---because of the way he played--mediocre to bad--- and it resulted in 3 losses for him and his team.
Here are Dan's stats for those 3 Champ. game losses---he had 4 TD's but 6 INT's and 2 fumbles, an avg. Rating of 59, and he led his offense to an avg. of only 12 p.p.g. How can a team win championships when their QB is playing like that ?? They can't and the Dolphins didn't. That represents his S.B. and 2 Conf. Champ. games.
Marino in a way agrees with you by the way---here is a quote of his made after his S.B. loss--"I'd trade every Record we broke to be Super Bowl Champs". All he wanted to do was play good enough to help his team win a S.B., but he was not able to do that.
Also don’t like this title. Should have one for the Bills and Vikings. 4 SB losses.
Dan Marino was the best. He just didn’t have a great team around him, especially in the 90s. He did help the Dolphins win more games than lost. With him they were many winning seasons, AFC East titles and playoff appearances. He carried that team on his arm. So considering that, he did pretty well, even with only one Super Bowl appearance and loss. And his final game was sabotaged. Jimmy Johnson was a fraud. If he had what Jim Kelly had, John Elway, and Montana, he would’ve been back to the Super Bowl and would have one more than a few times. Great Hall of Famer.
Yeah now they’re playing on a field that’s only 60 yards instead of 100, and now it’s a flag football game instead of a real game. That you how far from football the pro-bowl has gone.
Pro bowl is a waste of time. It should be a dope game or nothing
To me rodgers is the best thrower of the football I've ever seen, not even mahomes has that type of arm talent. Peyton is the greatest quaterback to ever play the position
You didn't understand that Randall had literally one of the worst OL in the history of the NFL. Randall was under constant pressure every snap and faced Lawrence Taylor twice a year. Vick also had Warwick Dunn supporting him as a RB. Randall had no one.
I wonder if any of those championship footballs are still around and what they would go for in an auction.
I am unsure of what the oldest nfl footage, however I do know the 1929 packers vs giants footage exists.
It was appropriate that the NFL was called an association in the early 20s. In fact that’s what it was until 1936. When it truly became a league. Because until then, there was no set schedule. And teams played a different number of games. one of the definitions of the word league in terms of sports is that all teams play a set schedule and the same number of games. And of course it’s not the Chicago Stanleys. It’s the Chicago Staleys.
The First Packer Great? ARE YOU SHITT**G ME? JHC, you HAVE to be joking. Right?
Hey bro do another all time team vid. Also nice thumbnails, keep it up!
Wow Dan Marino was a beast I don’t care if he didn’t win a ring look of some of the greatest players that never won a chip . Respect Marion name u bum
todays players off season is the time to keep in shape. old schoolers went to sell cars. nitschke taught math allen page studied law now hes a judge
All time bears team we can play like a 4-6 defense. The defense in '85. Using 6 linebackers since the bears have had so many great ones.
Randall Cunningham was the better than Michael Vick and McNabb by far as a quarterback
Randall Cunningham was a great thrower of the football
Sam Wyche def best head coach
Stupid. Very stupid. Picking Trubisky based on stats compiled in garbage time of blowout losses shows you know NOTHING about the Bears. Cutler never won anything at any level of play. So you pick an idiot and a loser as your QBs? That's a non-starter.
Rodger’s 2011 Season was better than Mannings 2013 Season.
Aaron Rodgers....easily
Even Manning said it on his pod that in terms of talent, effeciency and accuracy Aaron Rodgers is on a league of his own .
Good opportunites? '84 was his only chance and unfortunately Miami faced a much better defense than they faced all year and their own defense was shown to be sub-par at best. '85 lost to the Patriots in the AFC champs game and were well beaten in that game as NEP ran all over the porous defense as the Bills did for the next decade. Shula forgot what it takes to win ... defense and running the ball, they also never replaced Duper & Clayton and blew 1st round picks on a regular basis. Dont blame Marino for Shula's failures to draft/ trade to make the Dolphins better. Dan carried the team from 85 onwards.
Yo Dawg, this is not a contest.
Cunningham was the more complete QB but Vick by far the better runner.
Both was awesome players and they both changed the game NOW that I said that Randall Cunningham played almost every game in philly with a make shift offensive line Mike Vick had the luxury to play with a much more stable line. Randall Cunningham didn't see a good offensive line until he got to Minnesota.
With great respect from a Bills fan, I enjoyed taunting and talking trash to the fish’s fans. It felt great to see the greatest passer with his fab four destroyed 2 or 3 times yearly.
Imagine if Marino was in Buffalo with 6 other Hall of Famers? The bills wouldve gone 4-0 instead of 0-4. Kelly in Miami would be laughable, Kelly playing with no HoF teammates with the dolphins probably doesn't get to the HoF either
Cunningham’s downfall was the reoccurring Achilles injury , his 98 comeback was unreal , he was retired and came out of retirement in 97 and had a monster 98 season . Vicks downfall was doing illegal stuff
Sterling's the wr version of Bo Jackson
91 Eagles dominated against the toughest competition with virtually no offense. Qbs off the street vs Simms Moon Aikman Rypien ect...Never saw anything like that before or since.
you can't say failure, that is an extreme negative. elite, in the goat pack, but not the # 1 goat. for a decade or so, he was the # 1 goat. Now, the # 1 goat is MAHOMES. MARINO # 1 from 84 - 90's, till FAVRE and co. broke records, leading to future goat qb's. was brady, now mahomes. TL on the way ? go jville !
No I’d say Tom Brady is the GOAT but Maholmes right now is definitely part of the conversation for the GOAT
Im taking Aikman or Elway over Marino but not Kelly lol.
Drafted 27th
Aaron Rodgers is the very best talent bar none !!!
Marino was the greatest quarterback sans a ring.🏈🇺🇲

Both are great and top 5 all time QB’s
