That’s the end of that I think

G'day, the smoke was comming out of the exhaust, it didn't effect the traction, the speed did though!

G'day Lara, was a wakeup call for Alice, should listen to her dad - re speed. The RX7 is non-turbo, the car is well scrutinized by the Trained Officials, before it is let on the track. They check: the brakes, tyres, fluid leaks, and safety equipment and if they are satisfied, the car is/was deemed Safe to compete on the day. In this controlled environment, Alice can experience speed, braking and cornering, and if a mishap occurs, Fire, Medical etc, are on site to provide immediate assistance.

G'day, the non turbo 6 port 13b motor blows smoke in a James Bond style every now and then. There is no pattern to when it does it. When the oil seals have gone hard on rotaries, the usual result is they blow smoke out of the exhaust on trailing throttle. This thing can run out well over the red line, buzzer going and take the foot off, and no smoke. Then you will be driving along normally and a cloud appears, then disappears? That was was happening when Alice started, Regards Grant.

haha yes it was very scary, but fun! and yeah bad turbo and dodgy brakes! the oil was also leaking I think, took 20 hours to replace all the panels and front suspension

That would be scary for a 14 y/o, that section is steeper than the vid makes it look. Was the smoke from leaking oil? Is that what helped it around?
