The Digital Blobs 2023 Japan Trip!! ~ EVO Japan, Old Digimon TCG, Stayc Showcase etc.
Hey guys, this video captures the entirety of our 2023 Japan trip. We travelled to Japan in 2023 to enter the fighting game tournament EVO Japan. However, we also used the opportunity of being in Japan to play the old Digimon TCG with the local community and do various other activities such as going to the Stayc showcase concert. This trip was extremely fun, and I hope you guys enjoy this video.

Yall read Japanese?
We can read some of it (badly). For the most part we've just memorized the translations of the cards and what they do after playing the game for so long. If we forget what a card does, or are unsure of a ruling we just look it up.

how well does that card holder work when you play digica 2020 and wind up with 30 cards in hand?
Honestly not the best. It does overflow a little bit, but it's "doable". Biggest issue we've had with it is when playing old digica we accidentally knock the cards in our hand over while constantly checking our slots lol.

4:20 iirc the pokemon tcg did expansion boards like this, english players called them "vending machine cards"
