The ship is really the destination for me. It saves me money not doing excursions everywhere we go, and I can put that money towards another cruise. LoL

I'm definitely more of a relaxed type of person on cruises. And with all the interior spaces I never felt like I couldn't find a chill spot to relax. Thanks for watching

Limited privacy would def be less of a luxury! We enjoyed the celebration and had a forward facing balcony. Honestly was one of my favorite cabins on any cruise ship. The balcony was massive! Offset but it was only half in the sun. It definitely was hot though out there in direct sun! But the views were amazing! I swear we sailed into every sunset it was breathtaking! Thanks for watching

@@HereTodayWhereTomorrow I think the majority of the regular balcony cabins have better balconies than the ocean suites! I feel like they bank on someone wanting a suite enough to pay, or being inexperienced like me and getting comped or upgraded. Kind of like how they put some of their best itineraries on some of the oldest ships. Yours sounds like it was amazing!

@@DenaInWyo they definitely are in the business of making money so it wouldn't surprise me if there were some less desirable cabins that they pawn off on people who had a lesser room and will welcome a cheap upgrade. At the end of the day though. No matter the cabin type, it beats a day at home! LoL

Thank you for watching! That sounds like a great itinerary! All of those ports are so great, with ample things to do like shopping, swimming, and enjoying the local entertainment! The Magnifica was a little lack luster on some of the amenities that your kids might like since there isn't a water park with big water slides like on other MSC ships. But I am sure they will have a great time! Make sure to join a Facebook group for your particular sailing as its a great way for your family to make friends before the sailing! Please enjoy and make some great cruise memories!

@@Adamas11 I have not done any Royal Caribbean cruises yet! It's on my list to try them out. I do know Grandeur of the seas is one of their smallest ships so I don't think it has a ton of bells and wistles like the bigger classes with royal.

@@HereTodayWhereTomorrow Yeah, I watched a lot of videos on Grandeur of the Seas. I am not concerned with not as many bells and whistles as long as it is a good time, and great value. I like the ports of call, so there’s that too. And I am booking this kinda last minute and trying to get the best bang for my buck!

If I was to sail her again I would aim for 8, 9, or 10. Starboard side (right side) and far forward in front of the life boats. Especially if they are stopping at Ocean Cay you'll get a great view of the lighthouse show in lighthouse Bay!

I'm pretty sure you could ride whichever ones you fit in with or without kids! but the majority are kids sized. The train, carousel, rollercoaster, and the spinning one I'm pretty sure are the only adult sized ones. Still enough for a fun afternoon probably
