Easy load firewood
Easy way to get firewood. I traded the loggers a couple of quarts of my maple syrup I make & they load the logs not suitable for the mill.

A local timber harvest resulted in several of these cutoff piles. Probably close to 40-50 cords of wood all together. Almost all oak!

Checking the vacuum on the end of the line on maple sap lines. These are 3/16 lines reaching vacuum naturally through a siphoning effect.
