After a long long lonnnnnng time away from TH-cam, and a dull reenacting winter, I’ve finally recorded a new video with hopes to pick up my upload schedule, hope you’ll enjoy this video on how I pack my haversack for reenactments.

Hello everyone! After a few days I have finally edited and uploaded my first FPS reenactment footage, this footage was from the 2nd day of battle at the GBPA Gettysburg reenactment, I was unfortunately not able to record the 1st day, I hope you all enjoy this video! My video on Pickett's charge is also in the making!

      Yup, I had one somewhere but it seems to have gotten lost after I moved to a different house, so planning on getting one soon

    I generally only have room for my food in the haversack.

      When you add salt pork and more hardtack in it, it definitely fills up quick, I keep more of food in my knapsack sometimes

    Ditch the 1864 pattern cartridge box

      It isn't an m1864 box to my knowledge, there is no oval "US" stamped on the outside of the box (which was the main difference between itself and other boxes), this is the m1855 box done by Fall Creek

    Always give the liner the sniff test. Many original liners have a certain smell, like old scalp sweat.

      Yeah I dont even have to get close to the liner, I can smell it within 10 inches of getting close. Thanks for the comment!

    Finland was a part of Russia when the "Sohlberg" helmets were manufactured. Yours has the coat of arms of the capital, Helsinki. It was probably used in some kind of firefighting or civil defence task.

    Uffz stands for Unteroffizier which basically translates to NCO I believe?

      @@Broski1318 Yeah the Stahlhelm I have have some white specks on it, a telltale sign of going into burning/collapsing buildings, all these helmets have very interesting backstories Im sure

      They are easy to find, but ones in as good condition as this one can be rare
