Thank you for the compliment. I apppreciate it. When I was younger, it was much better!! (; I have worked my tail off to develop it, maintain it, improve it, not get stiff, stay centered, etc. etc. This horse is a dream to ride, although we are still just getting back in the swing of things. I was sick for 3 months this fall. This is our 3rd ride. As we get older, consistency becomes a feat! Happy New Year! & thank you for your kind and uplifting words!! 🙏❤️
I envy your seat... Used to have the 25 years ago, then didn't ride again till last year. Military service plus injuries amd age have done a number.

Are Lusitano horses known for being so tractable, OR is it just you? ALSO love the statement: "No pushing, prodding, poking, leaning ..."! I've seen too much of this.
Lusitano’s are round. That is why they make such lovely horses!

Thank you! We are friends. Healthy boundaries are important. It’s important to establish a connection and understand body language between one another early on. I will do another video soon, as he is 5 now and his hormones are kicking in. He has been collected in 2021 with great success and was a gentleman.

I can see where that jaw tension is coming from.
Yes. This horse was a jumper for many years of his life. He struggles with his right hind, and has many subluxations along his topine, which would prevent relaxation in the jaw. It is a very slow process for a very crooked horse.
