this popped up on my feed right when I needed it omg.. I’m applying to high school in jpn rn but I’ve lived in America all my life so I’m super scared abt the language barrier since I also only speak japanese at home and I look so white- I don’t look half at all. It often leads to people assuming I can’t even hold a small conversation in japanese. And honestly idk how to feel abt leaving all my friends, my mom and my dog (yes I’m gonna be alone in jpn if I actually get in 😰) I remember I experienced abt less than a month of 5th grade in jpn during my summer break but I wasn’t really graded on anything and it was a small experience. But even then, I got a lot of odd attention for ‘being tall’ or being able to speak English. They even said I looked like siblings with this half Russian girl who honestly didn’t look anything like me 😭😭 it wasn’t like they were mean, I just felt super out of place 🙂‍↕️ did not mean to type allat um mb 💀 but lowk this video gave me some reassurance that I should try since others are doing it. I hope u make or have made a nice group of friends too 😝

I’m re-learning Chinese but now that I think of it…since Japan has some of the same characters as Chinese characters, k would be able to understand a bit, not as much as Mandarin though, but it would definitely be nice to go to Japan too! Though I’m definitely going to try and go to China for the rest of my 1-2 years of highschool. Maybe even collage. Nice vlog, kinda like a tour lol. Hope the test went well! im an american, but i get feeling lonely. obviously its different in japan, but im autistic, so ive struggled my whole life to make and keep friends. and its only gotten harder as ive gotten older. loneliness is a real issue in a lot of places. theres just nowhere to go and people are mean.

the amount of jealousy i feel rn is immeasurable. my achool is so ass, doesnt even allow us to do shit😔😔☝️‼️‼️‼️‼️
