lmfao....these guys saying abs is good for learners ....no abs is dumb af and terrible best to learn how a bike feels when tires lock up there isn't also a guarantee the abs will work could always have a sensor or any part of the system go out

Looked at 1 in Ballarat VIC not long ago it's going for 6750 dollars what im worried about is it's done 53000kms and 3 owners is this very common when it comes to bike's like these iv currently got an 06 FJR Yamaha 1300 one owner with 165kms on the clock ⏰ without any issues I'm keeping her im just wondering if there are any issues with the BMW 1200R that id need to lookout for
Great review! Going for my license and one of these is waiting for me.
The brakes on that one in the test don't work because they are chromed. Originally (74 T150 on) they weren't chromed, just bare cast iron, and the brakes were excellent. There is not much info about the chromed discs, but you can learn a bit from the parts lists. I have all the Triumph bike parts lists, and there is little mention of chrome disc part numbers. What they DO mention is under brake pads. The standard brake pads have a note that says "Warning!! NOT to be used with chrome discs". So they mention chrome discs, but don't list them. They also don't mention any other pads. So don't mention "pads for chrome discs" and don't list chrome discs???? It was my understanding that the chrome discs were "only for show" when the bikes sat in dealers for ages, given the ludicrously thin coating that wore off after a very short time. MOST of the Brit bikes with chromed discs that have done any miles that you see have unevenly worn chrome, ie, half there/half not. They raced these bikes with cast iron faces/brakes were GREAT with that, WHY would anyone want them chromed, so that they then don't work as well??? It makes no sense. Why else would they have chrome on them, (apart from jjst for show) when EVERY Euro bike with great brakes had bare cast iron? Ducati, (I had a 75 900SS, cast iron discs = brilliant) Laverda, Moto Guzzi, every Brit bike = cast iron. The Japanese spent a fortune on every type of brake pad because they insisted on having everything BUT cast iron, and half the early Japanese discs were shocking in the wet by comparison. Looked nice and shiny though........ I bought my 74 T150V in 93. It had/has a 1,000cc Hyde kit and twin front discs, and the brakes are excellent. When I first got it, it had one "too far skimmed" disc (thin, under spec) , and one "patchy chrome" one. You could feel it "grab/let go" as it contacted chrome/cast iron. So I bought a new disc to replace the thin one, and had the "barely there" of what chrome was left skimmed off the other one. Brakes were then perfect. If your priority is a shiny front disc, keep the chrome ones. If your priority is actually stopping - get rid of it = use a bare cast iron one. It is as simple as that. My Trident sat for about 10 years, and is just finishing a major rebuild (95% complete) , and will soon be back on the road. My BSA A10 (62) has to be ridden carefully in modern traffic, as the "4 wheel disc brake new car brigade" love pulling out in front of you and jamming on the anchors, and the BSA's front drum................. you need to be careful. Wheras the twin discs on the Trident can stop in almost any modern traffic situation. They can be very frustrating bikes, but when they are running right, they are GREAT, I will keep mine forever.
Great review great bike 👍
Between this and the RS?
wow, that bike looks like a fearless kick ass racing demon. maybe it the way the headlights look, I don't know, but I'm ready to ride to hell on this speed demon, I don't give a fuck, as long as the road to hell is endlessly long and smoothly paved so I can enjoy this bike 4ever
Bought the 90th anniversary model in 2013. Now done 106,000kms & can’t fault it. Been all over Australia, never missed a beat. Have considered a new model but don’t think the $30k changeover would give me that much of a better bike.
This looks a bit weird to me; is this guy huge or what? The bike seems smaller in this video than it actually is? lol
Just bought my 2002 GL1800 with Champion trike, independent suspension. My test drive was from Central FL to South Jersey. Totally thrilled with it
I had two and loved them both
Needs those horrid US market exhausts throwing in the scrap you cant beat the Rocket 3 Raygun Exhausts
Would this bike fit 6.5 tall person?
The cf moto looks great i have never seen that model in europe
I've had mine for 9 years, done 8.3K Km on it and I cannot find a better bike to replace it. Best bike I've ever had and will probably keep it till I cannot ride anymore.
I love my k4
I recently bought this bike used and I have exactly same exhause with full carbon tip. Do anybody know what is it?
It looks like a German Ducati 907IE 😅
Oh my Super 3 is top heavy and the old gal isn’t as nimble as other bikes but she is a groin giggle and best of all she doesn’t leak oil like my son’s Ducati 900ss .
Luv my 2016-29000 miles no problem’s.
When I was 18 years old back in 1974 I bought this exact same bike black tank gold stripe brand new in the U.S. I paid $2195.00 for it . The Honda was a little cheaper than the Harley was just a little more out the door. when I walked in the showroom to look at the CB750 Hondas I saw the Trident for the first time and fell in love with it.. I was so glad I made the choice and bought it. It was the best handling bike I ever rode.. and I miss it to this day.. I'm glad I have a few pictures though.
What's the difference between a old dog and Harley Davidson? The Old Dog can get into the back of a pickup by itself!! I have a Victory Hammer best bike I've owned I replaced the clutch so posted the part# and special tools required if there's any Victory owners needing a manual its in my description too!
That music really sucks and spoils it all !
Real pity half way No Sound.. so useless.
I'm sure the T160 wasn't built at Meriden but at Small Heath.
Enjoying it as my first bike 🏍 ❤
2:57 There's a Thunderbird in the background in the best painting imaginable. Marble😍
I enjoy the very low centre of gravity on this 410kg cruiser, slow speed handling is excellent and long distance cruising is a dream, I did an engine upgrade in mine, from the 96 cube to a 103, one of the best mods, I paid 11K for mine a steal, fly to melbourne and rode it home to brisbane, I knew I had done the right thing, pure comfort.
Love my gsxr only got 7000 miles on mine
Whats it worth you think these days? Checking one out now with 5.7k miles 2003
@@frankiemarchese2978 I got my k3 at 5300 miles for 5500 but that was early last year before inflation and I think I got a pretty good deal as well only had scratches on the stator cover, I would say with that little miles if it's good cosmetically as of now would probably go for 8k or almost nine but that's just me guessing. If the guy is just trying to get rid of it than less
Nice. I can get it for $5,200
@@frankiemarchese2978 hell yeah go for it definitely underrated bikes, crazy fast
Sweet thank you! Yeah I test rode it today very fast. Its the silver model
Hi.. not model specific, but friends Vegas Jackpot.. , there are two bolts to bottom of starter.. and OIL came running out.. ie , the starter must have been flooded? with oil.. my though is that people keep way! over filling and oil blowing by shaft seal , hence oil going in and this is why starting issue.. can't imagine what the bottom end is having to splash through if I am right.. imho.. oil is to be checked with bike upright ,, not on side stand.. great to get your feedback. thanks
Thanks for your video, i'm finding it difficult to find a parts manufacturer company for the GV650 Aquila pro cruisers. Hyosung Wholesaler in Korea are difficult to communicate with and purchase parts from. Can anyone direct me to a Hyosung parts that is not in South Korea? thanks in advance.
On ya Rob Smith !!
Just got a k2
Absolutely beautiful
Oio kod jmel

Cosworth Engineering didn't do F1, Cosworth Racing did, two distinct companies😎
I bought a Moto ST7 on 30.03.2021. In my opinion, there is a big vibration, what is the reason? A chain is installed instead of a belt. Whatsapp 89296566964 Konstantin
