Friends, we pause our normally scheduled content to share our perspective on some seriously NOT ok treatment of a disabled, Native American woman at the recent @slipknot show.
We love love love this band and the show was amazing. And the way the men attending this show treated this woman was not remotely ok.
As a woman of mixed race, I can’t tell you how many times o have been told I don’t belong, I shouldn’t be where I am, and if something g happens to me in a place I don’t “belong” it’s my fault.
We’ll resume our normal programming tomorrow.
