its laggy because i dont have a great laptop, and before was for my friend but i want to try to post it. You must be using PC right? Tell us your PC specs, and then maybe I can tell you a better and easier app for editing video. Because DaVinci Resolve free version doesn't support Hardware Acceleration. Everything you do in the free version are software Accelerated only. That's why it feels slow for editing and exporting video.
Honestly I'm using an intel intergrated graphics and its still fine, the ram is 8gb (before) but now its 2gb left. Intel i3 cpu 3ghz 11th gen (i think). It's also a laptop btw When editing I dont feel that slow, but while exporting it will export at around 25-30 fps. Probably I'm just too used with 30 fps so I feel smooth
@@FlaredRex I see. Save up some money and then buy GTX 1050 Ti. It doesn't need additional Power Supply cable.

Yes i changed to Davinci Resolve, ONLY for gaming. Capcut is also good, but I think that they have too much feature and changing them to paid, not amazing. Except cat memes I will still use Capcut, until they became laggy for me (like kinemaster)/the important feature that i need became Capcut pro
