I really need to get sets with Todd, Tyzo, Hotshot, or some other Cinder someday. I really have a big Cinder problem and need to work through the MU way more. I really think I could be using Medium/Heavy Dragon Kick against Cinder more, especially when I have dragons to cancel and be slightly safer. Need to be a bit closer tho in general. Shadow Dragon Dance against Pyro Bombs isn't a real option. I need to make a mental note of when Cinder is fired up. I kept trying to punish whiffed Fireflashes with Light Dragon Kick, but ended up getting hit by the pillar afterwards. Apparently, Trailblazer is a slow enough move that parrying it if I see the startup frames during an Instinct pop doesn't work. Should probably stick out stLK or something instead. Definitely too much guess breaking in this set. Definitely should work on my meaty timing with light Dragon Dance, since that is actually a safe meaty against light Fireflash. Did not Shadow Counter heavy Trailblazer.
A thing to test: If a Cinder does Medium Trailerblazer into upforward Trailblazer, can I Heavy Dragon Kick that. He is -2, He might be able to hit me out with a light.
Okay! After testing, in that situation I cannot heavy Dragon Kick. I *can*, however, press clMP into heavy Dragon Kick for a decent punish. Generally, Cinders go for a button after the upforward Trailblazer followup and that will beat even his faster button. It will lose though, if they're fired up and do a second Afterburner. I can beat that with heavy Dragon Kick tho.
