A great recap as always, covered loads of games this week. That was my favourite game this season Scott, so close and such fine margins could have gone either way. Saving my AV 7+ wrestle guy from the treeman both down aaaalmost lost me the win, but in the end Scylla’s prehensile tail was the difference.

People always overlooked the fact that the Ogre Runt Punter is a 4+ for passing. Give it accurate/PA stat and it can easily become a 3+ passer.

Another great roundup. Skitter was definitely the star in my game against Jack and his Norse. Akhorne was sort of just there, didn’t really achieve much but did give me some much needed mobility. Jon is terrifying with those vampires this season…

Not sure why Scott thought I would be able to buy another tree. I just have one missing next game. I have around 590K inducements for the game against Jon as a result, and will have plenty for master chef and 2 stars.

Cannoneer won't let you throw it anywhere in the half. The longer the range, the narrower the width you can move it sideways.

My suggestion for changing foul is ignore the doubles. Roll a D16 on every foul attempt, adding 1 to the result for each foul previously committed. On a 16 you are caught. Sneaky Git gets to apply -1 to their result.

Congratulations on the tournament win Scott! My pet peeve is rolling over stunned players at the beginning or in the middle of a turn instead of at the end - creates an unnecessary level of confusion over if the player can get up or not… My other pet peeve is the use of loads of dice to figure out cage placement - one for the ball carrier is fine, but using 4 or 5 dice and fine tuning the placement during a timed tournament is not for me.

The griffhound might be an interesting comparison to the Amazon jaguar warriors. I value block about equal to claws, and both are mobile S4 without sacrificing Ag.

Hey guys, just discovered your Pod, love it. Had a thought about fouling. Doubles remain the trigger and if caught, roll a D8 using the scatter template for each assist from the downed player. If you roll a number occupied by an assisting player they are also caught and removed on a d6 roll of a one (or two?). The more assists you have the greater the chance to be caught. What do you think?Keep up the great work guys.

Re Hypno gaze, putting mind control on a victim does (according to the vampire lore I have seen/read) depend on the strength of the intended victim so it's not a gimme!

I agree hypnotic gaze makes no sense. Ag test for the player being hypnogazed and if they pass they are immune to all hypnogaze until the start of their next activation. So if during your team turn circumstances meam that player does not get to activate they are still immune to all hypnogaze

***SPOILER ALERT*** Time was running out at the store venue when the players decided at end of turn 13 to pause the match and reconvene the next morning to finish. Both coaches agreed to this and to not have a dice roll off. The stream was stopped. The store owner, being a person of magnificent integrity said the coaches could play to the end of regular time. The last 6 turns were not recorded. ***RESULT SPOILER*** Wood elves won 2-1 with a turn 16 TD following some failed bloodlusts and rushes with just one thrall on the pitch. Love the ideas here. Totally not ok with losing SPP but loving getting more fans if you push someone into the crowd and an SPP for foul and crowd injuries. Star players sounds interesting and combine that with the treasury spend idea then the higher value team can get the star players that can play for their opponent? 😂

No bull centaur for the three day event? Totally, a missed opportunity, I think. The werewolf might be faster on the flat, but I like the bonus of being the horse *and* the jockey!
