Yeah I noticed that. The most obvious difference between the two engines is their wheel arrangement. The J is a 4-8-4 Northern and the K2 is a 4-8-2 Mountain.
Fortunately the legacy of the streamlining still lives on through n&w class J #611.

Southern Rwy was Part Of The Norfolk And Western Rwy 😑
The Southern Railway was a totally separate entity from the Norfolk and Western. It was never "a part of the N&W". The two merged in 1982 to form the current day Norfolk Southern
