We have a flock of around 40 visiting our feeders daily in Western WA. We go through a lot of sunflower seeds and millet. They also drink a lot of water. Over a gallon a day if not more. I rinse our bird baths and add water a couple of times a day in this heat. PLEASE PROVIDE CLEAN WATER FOR WILDLIFE IN THIS HOT WEATHER. Keep in mind that not every animal can reach tall bird baths. Have a large shallow dish on the ground so that other critters could access. Replenish daily and throw in some rocks for beneficial insects.
