Week 6 Cargo Trailer Travel Trailer Conversion

The conversion was put on hold for a bit due to holidays, a retirement and well life in general. This portion we completed install on all the walls , ceiling, foam insulation on the floor, and underlayment wood on the floor. This weekend the weather has been pretty nice considering we are in the middle of winter. We will take advantage of the nice weather but will welcome any snow!
Week 5 Cargo Trailer Conversion Wind Go Away

This week the wind was crazy! We had a confirmed 55 mph gusts. We noticed the trailer was blown off the blocks. Too windy to work on it but we did add a few things during the week. The weather is changing and making it a bit of challenge to be outside!

This week we are working on putting up the walls, cutting into the trailer for a electric outlet and water inlet. We used KILZ primer on both sides of the walls to help with moisture. Thanks for watching and being part of our build.
Week 3 Conversion Cargo Trailer Camper Insulating

Week three and we have wiring all done. Foam insulation, taped all the seams and added a pink foam to the the seams to add an extra barrier for the insulation to really absorb all the heat. We used the wrong Great Stuff window and door sealer. We should have listened better but make sure to get the Great Stuff Big Gap spray foam. This week we are finishing up the wall insulation and electrical wiring. Next up we will work on insulation on the ceiling, welding and area for the fan. This week our youngest helped to measure!

Don’t you hate when you do tons of research and then the product don’t work. 🙄 . We had a few ideas that gave not paned our for us on our conversion as well.
I like your blueprint so I subscribe so I can see how it comes out I'm thinking of building one too that was smart of you to insulate over the studs they'll make a big difference not everybody does that best wishes
