So i notice you only went of looks and didn't dig deeper. I use to watch MissJollySims. But her lets play stories were... very and I mean very similar to Oshin's aswell. Which would have been fine if there was credit in the youtube discription but there never was. Even a lot of the names were the same. My favorite thing she did was her wn original idea which was making her family in the sims and creating a story for it. That was amazing, and her artistry shined. But it felt weird to support someone who was taking credit for ideas, and using the same names other creators had. The name Lizbeth isn't common, neither is Emeliano and she used both those names, after Oshin did. I'm glad she's being herself now and finding her way to play. But you gotta give credit when building off someone elses ideas especially if you are goin to use them on a platform like youtube. just my thoughts.

finally someone with common sense, cuz i thought i was tripping thinking that the whole situation was never that serious like 😭 , it’s a video game.

This whole thing is boring honestly and that’s why I stopped watched sims. Time and effort is put in making or creating the sims. I watched your previously video and this one, and I honestly lost of words.

The issue is these young children today lack individuality and imagination. Instead of finding a personal groove, they copy someone else. They are not playing the game for the love of the game. They are trying to make playing the game a job. So instead of being innovative and imaginative, they emulate. (I can say this because I'm in my 60s & have been playing the Sims since the beginning) My gameplay is individual and based on what I find enjoyable, not on whether my content will get a "bazillion" views. Of course, if Oshunsims has a large following, the person with little imagination will do everything to make their content almost indistinguishable. This copycat trend is also prevalent with CC creators. I only watch a few gamers because too many look exactly alike. Everyone wants to do a Rag's To Riches, Barbie, 100 Baby, this challenge, that challenge, etc., etc., etc. Just a bunch of regurgitation. There is only one simmer who, in my opinion, is carving out his own path, that's Petey Plays. He is not copying anyone. I love his content and watch regularly.

we see so much inspiration aka "copying" in the sims fandom on youtube and elsewhere. i download and use the sims & builds uploaded by others who create them. it is what it is. some content creators tweak a thumbnail style so the algorithm catches it. i don't think we can throw shade at jollysims without throwing shade other youtubers and at youtube's algorithm. also, i've seen exactly the same cc created by different cc creators. and as many popular cc creators do this as less popular cc creators. and for entertainment content, i think there's room for everyone. i follow superior simmer, pixelade, and simmer erin. i follow both oshinsims and jollysims. i'm just here to have fun, and i think there's enough youtube money to go around.

Just thought of another similar thumbnail trend in the sims community i should have added to the video. Look up sims vs sims 2 vs sims 3😂 The red plumbob needs to be cashing out on these thumbnail checks

Ugh, why are so many casual/cozy game fandoms so crazy? What was so wrong with her saying that she didn't like to swear and be loud? How the heck did they get a racial thing about that? I said the same thing. The only thing she should have apologized for was how she responded. We can't let people make us act out of character. But you have no problem with her being inspired, but you are bothered when she is actually inspired.Make it make sense! EXACTLY!! The entire time. I was like, have we seen the APHLA CC AND AESTHETIC PLEASING (girls with the white or cream aesthetic) simmers? Do they all not do the same thing? They have their favorites, and they are biased! The save file itself has an aesthetic, and that is the aesthetic Ms. Jolly uses. Ms. Jolly Sims creation is very top-notch; she is very talented, and she did it better, if we are going to be honest. The bread analogy is really good! I feel the same way!

Strangerville is literally inspired by stranger things so ofc people would be inspired in a similar way🤦🏻‍♀️ I haven’t understood this drama since the beginning. Same as Brindelton Bay= coastal vibes. Cause it’s literally COASTAL LIVING 😂 ! I agree though. I’m happy to see both are being civil to each other now. I feel like it’s just an overreaction. It’d be like if people got mad at people copying their “country living” let’s play cause it’s based on gardening and living out of the horse world or cottage living world. Idk, I honestly felt like I was crazy for being like….i don’t think ts is a big deal ? I just didn’t comment and stood by and watched cause I was like…maybe idk the whole situation, plus im trying not to get caught into the toxicity that the internet can get to tbh. Honestly, I don’t think I could handle creating my own content with some of the bs people have to go through from the internet. Everyone’s inspired by each other and just trying to enjoy their game !
