Put the 250 engine in a road legal pit bike and you'd have a winner as there's no alternatives for light mini bikes over 125cc. I have a WR450 but I'm looking for something smaller and lighter to practice on and the only option I can find is a 260cc Montesa 4Ride which is £8000.

Are the 250 quicker then the 150cc sounds daft but 250cc weights 125kg and has 21bhp and 150cc weights around 85kg and has 18bhp so only difference I could see is top speed

what engine is this bike based on? Seems like a very reasonable price but I do like to know a bit about the machine before jumping in :D
The engine design in 2000 era was based upon the Honda 250cc air cooled, since then there has been 2 decades and many generations of development for improved power whilst also not compromising on the most important reliability. This engine is made by Zongshen who produce engines for BMW, Norton, Piaggio but to name a few. These are the best engines for your buck on the market. By the way we have had ZERO failures (apart from one guy who rode through water upto his seat).
As stated above, it's a Honda design made by zongshen. Generally zongshen make good engines so it'll be down on power compared to modern water cooled engines but should be pretty reliable and easy to work on if need be.

These bikes are extremely reliable, upto date and since release in 2019 we have a ZERO failure rate.

This is a full size bike, it is as big as an enduro or MX comes.
I'm 5ft 10 my self and I sat on these and I was on my tip toes still if you over 6ft even better

There will not be a 50cc version in this model. Although there is a 50cc model available in a different model - KURZ RT1 50

Why is it so small
Pit bikes are meant to be small, although this model is actually not that small, it has a taller seat height than a Sinnis Apache & Lexmoto Adrenaline which are both classed as full size road bikes.

How do you wire this.up, I've wired it all up but my back break light isn't working.anymore? Help it runs but bogs anytime you rev ticks over but bog and no back light when.you press on the break, you need to splice a wire because it's a different wiring loom so ive wired it to the back break switch?

This is a video of the 2017 model which had an optional speedometer, this specific bike did not have the speedometer installed. In 2018 the digital speedometer was made standard on all the Kurz RT1 road bikes.

Would this system give my RT1 50 any more power?
Not anything discernable, maybe more noise. Small 4 stroke engines don't usually offer a wealth of power to be accessed via modifications. Adding capacity is the only real productive way but the costs are high and the results are mediocre unless you just swap the engine. The engines are available on Ebay for around £350. Two strokes are better for results but temperamental when striving towards the engine's limits.
If u put a 190 in in it will be very fast but not road legal anymore
