@ I was out of the tech game for 3 years only thing I kept up on was earbuds for working out! I have iPhone 13pro max looking to get the open 2 sometime this year! Have been on apples ya know since 2015 and wanna try android again!

I use the US model. I have seen others mentioning their notifications being an issue but I haven’t experienced it outside of this one app. All banking, YT comments, emails, social media and YT comment notifications come in like any other phone. It’s unfortunate that it’s sporadic for some people. I love the phone enough that I’d still recommend it but definitely an issue for some. Im obviously bias though since I spent hundreds of dollars on it. Ha.

Funnily enough I haven't faced this issue with my OnePlus 13. I actually had a similar issue with my previous Samsung S20 FE where the app would get killed and reset if I switched to another for a few seconds.

@@JoshsWayOfLife it's usually a battery optimization issue. I didn't have the problem on my other OnePlus phone or my OnePlus pad so, I checked the settings. Unfortunately, when I transferred my data to the 13, it changed the setting to auto optimize. My other two OnePlus devices were set to never optimize. Unfortunately, data transfers aren't always accurate. By the way, a word to the wise. When you go into developer settings and make changes like the one you did, there will always be unforeseen consequences. My 8T is rooted and running lineage OS 22.1 based on Android 15 so, I'm quite familiar with every developer setting. LOL

@JoshsWayOfLife nohh, no adaptive display settings on. Noticed immediately that the screen is warmer than my liking. Might be due to the anti reflective screen or something.

This may fix it if I’m hearing you right. Go to: Settings Notification & Quick Settings Click App Icon Badges Click Badge where it currently says "dot" And choose "Number" This will change your notification dots to numbers. Hope this helps.

@ still wonˋt show badge numbers, only dots. If I choose “number” the apps wont show anything

@JoshsWayOfLife I'm all for manufacturers going with different ideas with the monotony that smartphone design has become. I love oneplus now for the same reason I've loved owning my LG v60, even a small effort towards differentiation in design I can appreciate. I'm love with the blue, the V60 had the same blue and I just can't seem to get over that colour lol. I just feel oneplus could do with just a bit more of a rounded corner on the screen.

Battery for me has been pretty good. I’ll typically get 24 hours of use and between 6-9 hours of screen on time. Typically in the 7 range. That’s with a lot of work for the YT channel, Genshin impact daily for an hour or so, and lots of hours social media/TH-cam watching.

So it is now repaired and my camera is working like it should. I did see where some said that their phone would not focus but I have not had that problem. The other complaint was that the lens would cause a reflection to appear when taking pictures of lights. That is what I am seeing now when taking a picture of my WUBEN-X0 flashlight. I have another camera lens that should arrive by Feb. 5th that is supposed to be an OEM replacement so I will have to wait and see.
