I use a mimi flatiron for hair to iron the kinks out of ribbons

Nice haul! I only go to Goodwill to donate and buy craft related items. I get so thrilled when I find goodies like TH or good books for junk journals. I’ll be in Chattanooga soon for a weekend. Will check out McKay. PS: Your audio sounds very faint btw 😊

Have you tried running it through a few times for the intricate dies?
I did but I think it is my new sandwich with the dollar tree cutting plates. Have to get the right number/type of shims
@@tripleccreations2014 Yes, probably. I've only ever used the clear cutting plates that came with the machine and haven't really had any problems unless the die was really intricate. Sometimes I place a used dryer sheet under the cardstock when cutting out the die to help the pieces come out easier.

@@tripleccreations2014 We are so delighted to be moving there! Have been vacationing in the area for years, and decided it was time to sell the farm and move to an easier life in the mountains. Bought a little interim house and having our final home built when the farm sells. Maybe we could meet for coffee when we get moved.

I love all of the tags and embellishments you were able to make with these cards. On the snowflake I was thinking the remaining piece would make a great stencil since the paper is so thick. Thank you so much for sharing. I am a giver and I always need lots of tags for various gifts to the needy, homeless, seniors, veterans, etc. I always write To: YOU, then underneath I write You are loved. I enjoyed watching your creative process, it inspired me to pull out some paper and make some tags and embellishments for my cards. Blessings!

Thanks for sharing this cool little upcycle. I prefer to recycle/upcycle if I can. I have lots of file folders that I can do this with. I had thought that I was going to have to use them for die cutting or as backers in my storage envelopes. I just subscribed so you are one more closer to that 500. Blessings!

Nice idea but who on earth needs dozens of gift tags? 😕
What I intended to do this year was make gift sets but time got away from me. That is why I want ahead and got the boxes and have them in sets ready to go. I also have a large family so I used a lot of them myself.
