I first met the rainbow people after the gathering in Oregon in 1979. There were minimal problems at the gatherings until the police & forestry service got involved. You take that many people in an area that size for a month & you would expect lots of issues right? There were some but that many. They policed themselves. Then the law got involved then there was all kinds of crazy crap happening. Gatherings are not like they use to be sad to say.
