TINY HOUSE UPDATE | It’s been a minute!
Hey ya’ll, sorry I left ya hanging! Life gets hectic sometimes, and I’ve neglected my socials for a hot second. I haven’t given up on my tiny though! Paycheck by paycheck, weekend by weekend I’ve been working on this thing.
I barely covered the surface of what I’ve been up to, so if you have any questions I’ll be active in the comments section!

100 MILE WILDERNESS, FLOODED! | Featuring Taylor the Nahamsha Hiker
มุมมอง 19Kปีที่แล้ว
An insane attempt to complete a flooded, dangerous 100 mile wilderness as Taylor wraps up her 2023 AT Thru-hike. This challenged me mentally, physically and emotionally. Taylor had a special way of keeping it positive no matter what we’re facing!

Tent camping…on an island? | Three days on Bear Island, NC.
มุมมอง 3.6Kปีที่แล้ว
One of my favorite camping trips on my resume…Bear Island was a whole new ball game. Located in the beautiful state of North Carolina, this trip was exactly what I wanted out of a beach camping trip. Little to no people, no roads and cars, lights and buildings…it was just us and the ocean. Enjoy.
FLASHING THE SUBFLOOR | Tiny house series

Flashing the subfloor is so important. In this video I’m laying down an aluminum flash guard on my tiny house. This took about a day, lots of cutting and measuring. I also sanded down some resale cupboards to end the day!

Everyone meet Carrie, an incredible friend of mine who continues to amaze and inspire me. In this vlog we take on Wildcat Hollow Backpacking loop in Wayne National Forest, Ohio. It’s about 17 miles long and is full of scenic stealth spots, tiny streams and beautiful pine plantations. Also in this vlog you’ll get a sneak peak of her brand new van which will soon be her home! Stepping foot on two of our nation’s national scenic trails surprised and inspired me at the same time. Archer’s fork is definitely my new favorite Ohio backpacking trail. Situated in the foothills of the Appalachian Trail, this 14 mile loop is a backpacker’s dream. Enjoy the video!

I would rather hitch in Maine than anywhere else. Most Mainers are kind and safe people. I've lived here for 15 years.

5:55 hocking hills and zaleski are part of the foothills of the appalachian mountains which is why they feel so much more challenging than other parts of ohio that are further from the mountains. only the eastern &south eastern part of ohio is in the foothills

You might want to add a wheel wells since when the trailer suspension sinks or hits a bump your wheels will hit the wood you need room for it sinking with weight

  • @frank_III
    @frank_III 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

Excuse my suggestion, you might want to check the weight rating on the axles and beef up your suspension.

What's up with the convicted felon flag ? Don't you know he wants to take all YOUR LGBTQ rights away from you. He'll take away your right to marry. So if you support someone who wants to take away my rights and yours I will no longer support you!! I have unsubscribed from your channel and will never watch another of your videos.

YOU Should use all green treated for flooring. As someone who has suffered every type of water issue and mold sickness. Mold is Hell. Mold is the one thing that can make you have to destroy a home and or camper. I'd go Green board or PVC all the way throughout and vynl plank sealed flooring. Water moisture doesn't even need a leak you can be infected just from humidity. I've lost years of my life from mold toxicity. I spent years not even knowing why I was getting major hives and swelling and sleeping 15 hours a day when possible, having anxiety, irritability, brain fog, ibs, bad complexion, ect. I've lost thousands of dollars and wasted my late 20s and 30s. One bad plumbing issue and your whole project is scrapped or passed on as a lemon the next poor sucker.

Ok, so Dad is framing it 8' tall. I made that mistake on a build, too. It's fine. Just a bit taller than you expected. If you ever build another one, you could frame it at 6½-7 feet. However, with the 8', you could install a ceiling fan. There's room for it.

You captured the Knife's Edge trail's exposure. A stumble or slip would be a disaster. We hiked in the 70s. It's also remote so a rescue would be difficult. But it is one of the prettiest places in North America.

I don’t have that zpack tent or a trekking pole tent actually but from what I’ve gathered I thought u could just make your trekking pole a little shorter to decrease the amount your vestibule or rainfly is off the ground. I dunno though lol.

I helped rescue 2 out of a 3 hiker group last year at Wilson stream? Don’t quote me on that but it was no stream last year!! Chest high water and not safe! Luckily myself and my hiking partner made it unscaved but it was interesting to say the least! Great vid btw.

Hey Cody, just curious about the weight rating of your trailer. What size are those axles and what is the max weight you are going to try to be at when it's done? I have a camper trailer I want to do this with, but the weight rating has me really worried.
