💀💀P.S . I realized I made a mistake and said "you can get __unsubsidized_ loans." I *meant* you can get *SUBSIDIZED* LOANS. With subsidized loans- the government will pay the interest on your loans, in contrast to unsubsidized loans that require you to pay back the interest. If you're eligible, always go for subsidized loans first, before accepting subsidized loans. Sorry if it confused you.

I just got approved as a work place. I got absolutely no information about the 2 interns that are starting today. Thank goodness we sent them a job application. Apparently they have been in syep for years, but have 0 skills. I’m all about mentoring young moms but syep should have given me some information so I would at least know what to train them in before they start. They should share all the info they asked for in the syep application.

I graduated from an HBCU, Morgan State, in 1966. I was about to enter law school at Howard University when I was drafted into the US Army. I was offered the opportunity to attend OCS, officers school. I graduated as one of two Blacks in a class of 102 new Lieutenants. After the Army, I was recruited into a major NYC advertising agency and then Fortune 100 companies in marketing. Overall, I spent 25 years in corporate America. Finally, I became the CEO of a nonprofit organization for the final 10 years of working. My HBCU education was the catalysis for my success. I was totally prepared, unafraid, motivated, well spoken, and the best dressed. My HBCU finished me like it was an art!!

I'm a mechanical engineering PhD student at Howard. I got my bachelor's and master's at a PWI. Prior to applying I earned my engineer license and I have to say the quality of the education is top notch. More than that I feel like I belong which is such a blessing. I'm hoping to one day teach at an HBCU in engineering after using my PhD in Industry

Hello friend! So here is my story. I graduated from collage 13 years ago. Didn’t do so hot in my classes. Passed with low grades. Now is 2024 I want to go into nursing. I applied for cuny and as I’m making my schedule I realize they have a crazy retake class policy so I can’t ever go into their nursing program. I’m looking at SUNY WCC it looks more like something I can do. They don’t accept credits older than 10’ years ( meaning I can retake) and they heavily rely on the TEAS score. Is this information correct? Also how do I withdraw from cuny and apply to suny? And am I too late for Fall 2024 ? Loaded sorry 😅

So I wanna know about the application of this SUNY application like when should I apply? I want all the dates for all the semesters intake admission so that I can start preparing for it according to my convenience. I actually want to study there in January 2025 so when should I apply to SUNY application? And I wanna know the application date for fall semester too if I wanna study there in this August.
