Cordless Drill Charging and Storage Rack - Part 3 of 3
I assemble a rack to store all of my cordless drills, batteries, and it has a place to hang my reciprocating saw. This is part one of three, showing assembly of the cordless drill rack.
This is a part of a large tool bank that is able to be mounted on a wall in multiple configurations.
Assembly is quick and easy.
This cordless tool rack has five bays and is about 12 inches deep.
The cabinets are 12 x 12 x 30 with ample room for your charging station and other tools.
A separate shelf with a notch for your circular saw is available separately as well as a rack for your reciprocating / saws all.
I hope you enjoy watching and seeing how simple they are to assemble and install.
Plans and kits are available on my website www.x3cnc.com

Building a lumber storage rack for the shop.
มุมมอง 2.2K3 ปีที่แล้ว
Since the CNC is up and running now, I need a space to keep all of my sheet goods. I have decided to make a rack that will hold about ten sheets of 3/4" thick material and it will sit close to the CNC, allowing for easy use. I designed this after taking a look at what some other people have done, and then put my own spin on it. I designed it up in CAD, tool pathed in Aspire and cut it out on my...
CNC Router Vacuum Table - Part 3 - Zoned Spoil Board
มุมมอง 24K3 ปีที่แล้ว
Now that the vacuum table is cut and sealed, along with the vacuums being installed and plumbed in, it's time to install the spoil board. I am using 1 1/2" MDF that is cut in pieces, with the edges sealed, to help keep the vacuum in its own zone. I know that this video isn't really exciting, but this really does play an important roll in the use of the machine. Without this spoil board, regardl...
CNC Router Vacuum Table - Part 2 (Plumbing)

CNC Router Vacuum Table - Part 1
มุมมอง 33K3 ปีที่แล้ว
I am modifying the CAMaster 4x8 router table into a vacuum table. The steps in this process are to surface the table top, cut holes for the plumbing connections to the vacuum system, and then cutting the grids for the different zones on the table. Since the table top material is MDF, once I surface it and cut into it, removing the skin layer, if I were to apply vacuum to it in its raw state, th...
CAMaster CNC Move In And Overview

With the shop complete enough to start moving in some of the major equipment. The CAMaster Stinger III will be the primary tool used in all projects. I will push the limits of both the CAMaster and myself to use this awesome tool to its extents. My goal is to use it to complete as much as I can with every project. So, this should be fun. I have a few modifications I need to make to the CNC from...
SHED INTERIOR UPDATE

This is an update of how I am choosing to finish the interior of my shed / shop. Just reviewing some of the choices that I had made and soon, I hope to be getting to work, and showing you all what I can do... or what I can mess up... LOL. I used R15 insulation and green board, drywall just as a preventative measure against moisture. With walling off for the shed, and the office, it leaves me wi...
Amish Garage/Workshop/Shed - 20 min - Garage Delivery - Wicked Cool Trailer!
มุมมอง 168K3 ปีที่แล้ว
First time I got to watch a delivery, unloading & set up of a large Amish Shed. Two men and a truck did it all! The site prep took about 5 hours to complete and that was done about two weeks prior to the delivery of the garage/workshop/shed. Delivery of each half took about 6-7 hours over a two day period. There was a little drama with the police showing up, but a young kid drove off the road a...

Watch part one of the delivery of an Amish built garage. The garage will be 24x40 but it is delivered in two halves and assembled on site. This will give you a better idea of what it will take to have one delivered on your property. The second half will be in the next video. Thanks!

Now that you have had your shop for a while, how do you like it and was it a good investment? I am actually looking at purchasing a similar garage for a wood shop. I’ve been contemplating between a pole barn a stick framed garage, and one of these “shed/garages”. I’m really leaning towards this type of garage. Any feedback you could give would be greatly appreciated!

Matt, I do like it very much. I'm glad I took the time to insulate it the way that I did. I hear the whole shop with a small electric space heater. Keeping it at about 62 degrees in the dead of winter. The electric for that cost me about $75 a month. Thanks for the question.

Thank you. The system works great. I followed your direction fully for making the vacuum system, except mine is four zone and I added a Fuji PV8 vacuum relief valve. I used 3/4" solid surface for the vacuum table. I made the spoil board out of 1" MDF.

Cool build! I'm curious how it's gotten on as I'm a bit worried about the cooling of the motors. Usually those vacuum motors cool themselves with the air that they're sucking through, but in this use case there's very little airflow and thus very little cooling. Have any of the motors burnt out? Also, have you ever been curious to hook those motors up in a series to get a stronger vacuum on the table? In parallel like you have now it will be able to deal with leaks better, in series it should make a slightly stronger vacuum.

I have a question... I want a she shed and the green board idea is great because I could possible see myself traveling from time to time for extended times- no heating or AC. The property behind my moms house would be great, its lake front :) Anywho, if I were trying to work some numbers what would the 12 x 36 shed cost to green drywall sqft top and walls? Any idea how to come with that estimation? I'm making a basic budget for starters. Thank you- its good looking shed be proud of your hard work! Intensely large area to accomplish sir... The sliding/tilting bed is awesome, but the special "widget" is the set of fat tandem wheels between the regular tandem axles!. They deploy down and give the operator the ability to traverse the gap and set the building dead on.
