Awareness For Youth with Dr. Debayan Sarkar in an initiative to impart contemporary wisdom (i.e. ideas that work best in the current times) that will help people to make effective decisions and benefit from its results.
In the era of the internet it is easy to get influenced by false narratives, behaviour assisted marketing strategies. In short, it is difficult to maintain a sustained growth mentality, when a huge percentage of the population is running around for a shot of quick dopamine to feel happy in the short term.
The goal of this channel is to give its audience a sense of hope, and to arm my fellow viewers and clients with powerful mental tools that have been used and pioneered by individuals like Charlie Munger (partner of the Great tycoon Warren Buffet). Alongside, I will provide you with practical guidance on how to identify the right opportunities for your own and family's growth leading you towards sustained happiness.

Good observation, but I think a more important index to look for is the average income of a locality if one is planning to open a small business in a particular locality. The gross average income of the locality will dictate whether the products should be high-ticket-size or not. This will obviously vary between areas of the same city.

Pichle 10 saal Mein salary par exemption negligible badha hai and we are supposed to believe that govt will remove income tax till 15 lacs?
Hi Yash, important point. But that is what the government is proposing at the moment.
@AwarenessforYouthDrDebayanSrkrto whom they r proposing
You may refer to news outlets as below: www.livemint.com/videos/budget-2025-government-may-reduce-income-tax-for-those-earning-up-to-15-lakhs-to-boost-consumption-11735382979490.html
@AwarenessforYouthDrDebayanSrkr these r perhaps planted news, and this cycle is continuing since ten yrs
The current corporate tax in India is 25%, 21% in the US and 25% in the UK raised from 19% in last year.

I am wondering why this video didn't get viewership. I am TH-cam is only interested about espousing the negative narrative!
Thanks for your support!
Thanks for this clarity. However, are people getting enough return on the cumulative collection in taxes? I think the answer remains NO!
Well I would say it's a good thing to pay off national debt with tax collected, but I am sure that quite a bit of it is wasted to keep the power so I agree with you.
Good point
I request all the unemployed and low income people who earn less than 50k salary, please do not Marry or not have children. Don’t become Poor.
That is sadly a smart call. But they will bring up their children in a cost effective manner and marry also in a similar way. Anyhow, people should just do whatever they wish to do rather than what society thinks. <50k income actually does not have income tax only indirect taxes. So from earning POV it is not so bad.
Sir South India ki too fertility bhot low hai
Actually ye itna bura nahi he abhi tak. But politicians ko farak padta he delimitation ke wajah se. Population kaam hoga toh parliament mein unka seat kaam ho jaega aur north jo relatively gareeb states jahan bacche zyada he unka seats badh jaega
In my opinion we need to reduce our population to about 1 billion. The current level of population is unsustainable. Now, before people start raining down on me, let’s consider the current situation. We have a population of 1.4 billion where the literacy rate is below global averages. Of the so called literates, only a small percentage of them have real job related skills. This very small percentage of our population currently bears a huge percentage of the burden of paying taxes, supporting the production and productivity in the economy. While, at the same time a huge majority of the population is either unemployed or underemployed or posseses such low levels of skill that they only get subsistence wages. This whole thing about democratic dividend is a bogus story spun by governments. We have had virtually no demographic dividend from our growing population. Our infant malnutrition rates are amongst the highest in the world, even now. What demographic dividend can you reap when you have a malnourished population. So, briefly what I am suggesting is - work at reducing population to about a billion. Work hard at enhancing literacy, nutrition, availability of sanitation & health services. Side by side, improve the population skills and productivity - this skilled population will therefore be so much more productive that it can then sustain the smaller level of dependents in a one billion population. There could be some short term pain/disruption but not much given the longer term benefits. But let me say this with a caveat - this long term vision requires governments to work hard and prioritise well. We can’t expect them to do that. So, will have to live with the balderdash that dole out now.
Beautifully said! That's a delicate balance that needs to be established. We can afford to fall to 75-80 crores too. Skill gap is the key thing, plus the number of employment from private players need to go up by a huge level. The problem to earmark, is consumption drop in the low to middle income threshold. Sadly with the wars and political priorities, these huge population is struggling the most. Riches on the other hand are almost bindass! Or if possible are leaving the country. Virat Kohli too now.
This is a right time to actually raise this issue, so that we can discuss, debate and raise awareness, so we can have atleast a decade to formulate policy also, we will have the necessary time for the society and economy to adjust.
Agreed.
I guess its more abt maintaining the fertility rate around 2.1 and arrest any drastic fall. With a youthful population, a fraction can easily migrate to other countries as they depopulate, and we can become a powerful global diaspora.
Without kids there is no future for the country. Population shrinkage will lead to more growth challenges. But I believe India will grow old before it will be rich.
Almost all countries that are really rich have a lower than 2 fertility rate. So I agree with your last statement. Population shrinkage has an asymmetric effect, that is in one sense it is good for employment but bad for consumption and maintaining welfare systems. And since the educated tax payer population shrinks more, it becomes further challenging.
Nonsense reasons,No science here
Thanks for your honest opinion. However, could you clarify which logics seemed nonsensical to you?
I'm a bit confused here. While I see the need for a young workforce, don’t you think most of the places are overcrowded? With India’s population density at over 460 people per square kilometer, overpopulation creates intense competition for limited jobs..
That's a good observation on the surface. Overpopulation does create starvation for limited jobs. But the government has to keep asking people to reproduce even in distress as they cannot afford a loss of population in the future for the myriad of reasons I have mentioned. If they lose population at a rate what China did then, India might not have the money or administrative strength to bring it back up. Plus it's politics, they are here for power, not necessarily welfare. China still has more money power than India plus a large section of the population is employed compared to India (at least on paper). In addition to that in any population there will be a bunch of people who are easily the choice for employment and some have to be made employable. Larger the skill gap larger the problem. The education/skills training system has not been very helpful as yet. If you survey the current status there is one suitable job per 12000 graduates. So you can fathom that huge levels of entrepreneurship and skill upgradation is the only way to even sustain any model. The road ahead is a bit unclear. We need more stats, but unfortunately they can only be analysed in hindsight. Predicting which skills to invest in for future job sectors is also difficult as we are still in a transition phase where we don't know which skill will become non essential after ai and automation had its way.
Feel Free to watch the video at 1.5X speed!
I think it it worth talking about delimitation aspects too. It is a major driver for all states trying to prop up the narrative of dropping fertility rate, not only Mohan Bhagwat!
Feel free to watch this video at 1.5X speed. Correction: I have mistakenly said North Korea instead of South Korea while talking about population restoration measures.
I think another point worth adding is about making children capable of taking independent decisions from an early age. Abroad, a special attention is given to build self-confidence in children by empowering them to take independent decisions, such as what they want to eat that day or do they want a jacket for the day at the nursery, for example!
True, parents should encourage their kids for savings, good point 👏
Very helpful.
I think these days scammers are using the loss aversion bias the most!
About india I can say hiring has slowed down extremely even iit grads are unemployed,i am taking about freshers. I think its a economic cycle it will soon start.
Your last point no 7 was bit mixed in guess
I know what you mean. Well, there is scope to clarify it even better. Pharmacists have now been reduced to signing authorities coz the grunt work can be done by machines and automation. So requirements have lessened. In india 4-5 or more medicine outlets hire one pharmacist who acts as a signatory only. The bank loans are now distributed based on CIBIL/credit score ratings, where executive decisions are made by machines. The signatory authority may take a final call, but that is often a chair than an actual decision makers in the current days. Hope I have given better clarity now.
Feel free to watch the video at 1.5X speed.
hey my father was a gov employee working in different parts of the country but was very stubborn bit stupid n bit alcoholic, I lived in big cities of india all my life now in retirement they moved back to manipur( which according to me was big mistake which gov employees make) now the calibre of people is nowhere like people in bangalore and city is much poor even a person earning 1lakh will be considered rich/upper middle class ,now what should people living in small towns do to eventually move permanently to a big city like bangalore or Mumbai or Pune how to have to right foundations
Move to a big city if you have the option. Remember when you get a job the salary is often pegged to the city's tier status. You will see this classification broadly at work for HRA calculations. Industry and jobs don't get to develop without an ecosystem. Jobs will come at a higher frequency in large cities, businesses win or die out at a fast rate in big cities (due to better estimative power of success). In smaller cities or town, their could be incremental growth, but if someone is ambitious and want to grow, they will never be able to satiate their desires in a small town or lower tier city. The reason a fast win or loss is better and you can still save the time component to try something new.
@AwarenessforYouthDrDebayanSrkr sir I am in a big city but it's too expensive, the landlord in Bangalore don't return deposit when leaving the house and keep gundas the local don't like North Indian,I look like a racial minority north eastern so I problem with both north Indian and south Indian,I do have friends but I am saying random South Indian start abusing while going on road when they see North Indian in new year,I have video of 3 North eastern video were passing by when a group of hooligan started slapping 1 guy and 2 North east girls sitting in the bike, and I have seen many such experiences,in covid there was more discrimination against chinese looking Indian from North east. (That's the -ve part) ,the positive part is the start-up eco system here is too good, lot of educated people and people who are interested in entrepreneurship, lot of friends when to USA after graduation, one mistake I realised that I was living with people who are lower middle class and my dad was group A officer in army so lifestyle and mentality was not matching,I find people who are of good colony in HSR Koramangala and good location of Bangalore but those places are too expensive to buy/rent ,also the salaries they are offering are too low compared to expenses in IT I shifted to data science,I am trying to get a job abroad in EU so that can save money to buy real estate in Bangalore
Clarity given in very simplified way, nice
Hi
Hello
Can you do a video why companies today don't reply to job application or even after applying to 100 jobs we only get 3 replies, also this phenomenon seems to be global I have worked in Bangalore now I am in Europe Indians in Germany and USA say they are not getting response even after applying to so many jobs..what is happening are these ghosts jobs by HR just to make a List, some startups like to post of jobs they don't plan to hire just to look good on paper to investors/valuation
Thanks for your comment.. I have some insights on these. I will make a video on this soon.

Welcome aboard!
Very important message... these tycoons are extremely TOCIC and just masked themselves as good but are exactly like CHINA looking at us all as servants /Naukar/ dispensable/ replaceable/ peasants... They look at us as commodity not people.
Glad that you liked the content and resonated on the thought process. Stay tuned for more content.
Please make a video for people who are in such job roles where they don't get specific type of experience to develop such competence.
Thanks for this question.. I will answer this in a future video.
Feel free to watch the video at 1.5X speed. Disclaimer: 1. The company that offered IT jobs at INR 20000 pm is Cognizant, not Infosys. 2. When I say the big industrialists "don't have to work", I mean the grunt work! Active coding for IT professionals or physical work for manufacturing work. They still have to do meetings and delegation of task and take some important business decisions. 3. I have named the few industrialists whom I have not mentioned in the video but have mentioned in my hashtags. Even then following are their names besides Narayan Murthy who are trying to promulgate the extreme work hours for the Indian work force: Sajjan Jindal, Bhavish Aggarwal, C.P. Gurnani.

Really good to see how hard you are working on your presentation ❤❤
What to do when sample size is not that high?
Thanks for that great question! Sometimes when large sample size is not available you have to take similar cases that have happened in history to have a better and broader estimate of associated risk. However, in some cases lack of sample size for something really pathbreaking is a problem to estimate the merit of the option. There, a calculated risk with disposable (some amount that you don't mind if lost) liquid asset (such as money) is advisable. Looking through such a narrative is not easily possible unless you are ready to bet on it or observe the pattern of loss/gain of others with the same.
Nice to see you 💜
