Cool to see the hobby is alive and well in Germany!!! Very cool, appreciate the 318 I think they are " bullet proof " ..... I had a 1993 ram 150 pu truck for my lawncutting business.... It lasted 10 years and was 10 years old when I bought it.... Best part after 20 years was the motor and tranny !! It could blow the doors off a chev 350 all day, and I'm a Chevy guy lol.... I acquired a 68 gt dart and it is now on a rotisserie .... It's complete and I got it off my buddy as a roller for 3000. But no motor and trans. Curious of your opinion if I should go econo 318 or put a 340 or 360? Most car guys tell me 360 more attainable and power for the dollar?? Your friend paul from Canada.... My son did an exchange with a boy named simon a few years ago and he was great. My son had a great experience there and loved the novelty of drinking beer " legally" at 17 yrs old ..... And the sausages, couldn't get enough.... Nice burp by the way lol.... I was compelled to reply because I appreciated feeling like I coulda been your buddy going for a ride after a pint or 3.lol..... I am mexican, the volkswagen sedan or kafer if you prefer that name, I remember I had the opportunity to drive one and is an amazing car, strong, and reliable.

Im in mexico right now as i look out the window i see a 1995 Yellow Beetle with MEXICO CITY PLATES on it silver steal rims with the VW center caps still on it pretty rare sight in the condition I see probly like 50 a day on the road a day
