Amazing how odd findings turn up years later as useful. Just like the Uru Mais camera displacement. I've known about that for some time but I never would have imagined it'd be the key to Ice Barrier Skip!

By the way, I'm sure you figured this out, but in case you hadn't yet: the visual cue to go from left to upleft is when the rocks fully disappear.

Prove it. Like, the purpose was to demonstrate how high the damage can get in a single turn. Max AP is a useful skill, but doesn't in itself boost damage.

@@trance1215: When you use nothing but Hyper Arts of course the damage is going to be high, also you're level 99--who knows what weapons, items, buffs/debuffs, accessories are in play--and the Shadow Skull you're destroying is only level 12. Lastly, in normal game play Raging Fang costs 30 AP so even with full AP bar (100) you can only use it three times, you got six; Thunder Sky is a 50 AP art and you used that twice AFTER 3 Raging Fangs apiece. Impressive damage, yes, but at least state you using a cheat of some kind and this is for fun/demonstrative purposes.

@@josephpiech7705 Ok, looking closer to that movie we can't say what kind of eq Lang have, but we CAN say what kind of accesories he have. It is Beggars Bangle (MP Siphon, Gold Siphon), Iron Wall Badge (AP Cost Down 2 and 3, HP Attack, AP Attack), Muscle Ribbon (2 x Attack), Vampire Symbol (AP Cost Down 3, HP Siphon). With that combionation Lang can fit 3 x Raging Fang plus Thunder Sky (AP Cost Down) and because of Muscle ribbon that combo is repeated one more time for free.

still trying to mash through and finish this wonderful game. I keep getting close where the error message pops up, the cutscene will finish but the game won't resume. -_- been finding tips on occasion like lowering my display and sound settings.

Thank you! The thing about this category is that it is so radically different and requires so much less menuing than the old route that it essentially erased Dr.Skies' main advantage over me. My slots are at least on par with his, and I have always been really good at routing and executing all the incense skips. When he decides to implement my skip routes, he should be able to beat this, but I am going to keep grinding this down in the meantime. Soon I want to go back to the old route (now known as Beat Juggercort) and see if I can match his skills in that, because I find it to be a much better representation of how Legaia gameplay actually goes.

By that I mean against the rhythm of my previous methods. Before, I have always tried to route from the earliest location as possible while trying literally anything in-between to make a consistent setup work (the goal is to make everything input either a buffer or end up as one). This type of route is different in that it doesn't convert as much game-progression movement into setup movement, but instead considers that movement that we will have to eventually do anyways, so why not get some of it out of the way?

I don't know if I'd go that far, given that beating his time requires extremely good play throughout the entire game and has the best slots anyone has ever done, but I feel really confident that I'll be able to get a time somewhere in the 5:03-5:07 range within a couple more runs. It's only a matter of time before I get good enough at slots to get a truly absurd time. I mean seriously, I maintained a rate of 5.6K coins per minute for over 5 minutes. That translates to 11 minutes and 36 seconds for 65K if maintained over the full (current) amount. Now normally I'd not get super hyped about small sample size rates, but 5 minutes is an extremely long time to keep a hot streak going, and during practice I feel like I can hit bonus games at will. The key for me is getting over the initial nerves of starting off, and getting acclimated more quickly.

It's been a long time since I made it, so unfortunately I don't remember. What I can do is give you the general tips that I followed in order to make it and every other good accessory I have. First, you're going to want to build up a stock of 2-3 of every accessory. *******SAVE******** Then make a nice big tournament-style bracket and search through Flash Earring + A, B, C, D, ..., Z and write down any results that pass down 2X Attack Rate. Make a separate save file, synth the most promising of the positive results. Repeat the process, writing down results. If you get something you like, then awesome! If it isn't what you wanted but *might* be good, save in a separate slot again, write a note stating what the file is for, and reload either your original or second save to move back a couple steps.

This one in particular I am quite proud of. It trivialized the most difficult skip in the game, made it faster, and eliminated the possibility of a Rim Elm random battle all in one go.

I have described it in other places. I will copy and paste from my guide on SRC: "I use a technique that proceeds as follows: for the first reel, watch until the Coins (yellow) appear, hit []; for the second reel, watch until the blue streak of the Spikefish and Kick appear, hit X. This takes advantage of my limited reaction speed to automatically line up the first two slots without having to strain my eyes to see and time the punches. The third reel is by far the easiest to see and time, so I just watch the reel and time it after internalizing the rhythm. This methodology may or may not work for you, and varies depending on your own personal hardware setup, visual acuity, and reaction time." refer to this image: i.imgur.com/bKlXd34.png

Also, you must hit input to stop the reel exactly 3-4 frames before it is due to line up with the intended position. If you stop it earlier or later, the reel will either advance or stop early by 1, or hang and continue for several more frames. The advantage of my method is that if the reel hangs, it is possible that it lines up with the NEXT punch, acting as a sort of chance-backup that I hit a few times in this video. Another advantage is that I do not have to waste time readjusting to the rhythm of the slots, at least for the first two reels. I just see color and hit button. This is why you see me getting the first two reels very rapidly compared to DriftingSkies, who times each reel.

Abraham Diaz it means that the max number of alive zeds allowed on the map at one time is 32. This is the main number that determines the difficulty of most solo challenges. As for the 9mm I just have the horzine elite green skin which was given for free for playing the beta.
